About this property

Modest Mountain home close to red rocks and skiing

Beautiful modest home conveniently located on Floyd hill. During the winter months we call this home the "snow globe" the large open floor plan with windows all around offers a wonderful family setting. Read or relax watching TV by the fireplace. Our Gourmet kitchen is built for a chef! Viking Double oven, 5-burner gas stove, industrial refrigerator, 55-inch tv and cozy surroundings.

Modest mountain cabin with charm and character, not perfection and always a work in progress.

Hi, Thanks for staying with us.

Please remove your shoes upon entering the house, especially the carpet area. Excess fees for dirty or stained carpets will be assed.

We ask that you please straighten up after yourself, load the dishwasher, and please store all trash in the bins provided in the garage our trash service will pick up on trash day. It would be much appreciated if you strip the linens.

If you've played with any games or toys please return them to their labeled locations. The housekeeper will take care of the heavy lifting but during peak season we have tight turn arounds.

Dogs are welcome! Please crate your dog when you leave and wipe their paws.

Please note parking is not covered and if you experience heaving snowfall our neighborhood snow plow guy will clean the driveway but you will need to use snow shovels to get your vehicle out.

Please prime the flu prior to starting a fire.

Please take note of the guidebook at the location, the freezer is located in the garage.

This property is UNREAL! We had an amazing time. Belle’s space is super accommodating, too! Definitely already miss the views from the porch and windows + all of the deer and wolves we spotted 👀💖 can’t wait to return!!!

The House was Lovely!

My husband, kids, and I enjoyed our stay! The house was very Cozy, and our kids were very comfortable. Evergreen CO was a cute town, and we shopped and ate well. We also liked how close this house was to Denver too! We actually went into the city during our stay. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Perfect for the family

The warmth and crackling coming from the big rustic stone fireplace, with the view and all the wildlife coming through the property was the perfect Colorado experience for us! Rainy cold weather kept us inside most of the time, but there was plenty of games, puzzles, books and toys. The laidback, almost hippy style of the house provide us with comfy cozy beds and furniture to lounge around on. Everyone in our family loved the big openness of the living, dining, kitchen area. Also, being located near an on-ramp to hwy70 made it easy for us to get around and explore Denver, too.

Great peaceful getaway

We had the best week here, it’s a great location and this house is very well appointed for kids. They had loads of toys and things to keep my toddlers entertained, they’d go straight to the toy drawer each morning and spent a couple hours playing while we got to hang out with our family. Note there is no AC like most local properties, it can get a little warm during the days but we were mostly gone anyways. Beautiful view and great kitchen! Thanks for a great stay!

Great views perched in the hills

This was a great house for our family of 5 with amazing views of the sunrise and looking back east to stop at for a few days. The kitchen was fully stocked and the fridge had nice selection of things to get started with. Beds were comfortable and great water pressure. Overall, the home has a very relaxed and eclectic vibe. The very last little stretch of road leading to it is pretty steep and passable in our minivan in the summer. Not sure how we would have faired if it was winter or muddy. I highly recommend this place for a quick escape from Denver or if you're looking for some solitude. Local attractions were all about a 10-15 minutes away which includes lots of places to eat, mountain adventures and hiking.

Amazing views and lots of room to spread out

This place really gave us the flavor of being in Colorado, being high up on a hill with amazing views! We had three adults and three 17-18 year olds and had plenty of room for all of us to sleep and spread out to hang out or rest before and after skiing! Thanks for offering this home!! Highly recommend!

Great home, great views. Evergreen is a great little town and 30-60 mins from the resorts and city pending snow conditions :) Open area living room and kitchen are very tranquil.
