Small lake for kayaks and stand up boards! Spacious accommodation with ability to cook in and out and a great coffee pot with coffee pods and condiments! So peaceful… will come back!!!! And pet friendly!!
If you’re reading reviews to determine booking with hosts, Kelly and Jeremy, look no further. The property is as advertised. Cleaned and in working order. Pre, during, and post stay questions are responded to efficiently. My gf and I are looking to return.
We enjoyed a quiet Christmas at this perfect cabin. We loved the fireplace and walks around the lake. The Guadalupe access area was fantastic. We walked our dogs and enjoyed the small waterfalls.
My family had a wonderful time while vacationing at Basecamp Resort! It is a beautiful property with so many things to do. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking at the lake, swimming at the pool, and relaxing in the river. The accommodations were equally as nice and owners were very easy to communicate with! We will definitely be returning.

What's not to like!! Exceeded my expectations. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable get away and the surroundings on the property are truly remarkable. We will definitely be returning.
Overall the property was in a great location to get to local parks and sites. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Smart TV never worked due to connectivity issues. Hot tub was awesome although I had to do my best to tune out construction workers performing different tasks adjacent to the cabin.
Would recommend this for a couples retreat or individual mini sabbatical.

Hi Charles! We are glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin, despite the construction and the TV not functioning. Had we known about the TV, we would have been glad to help! We hope you will come back to stay with us again!
Had a relaxing time at the Rambler. House was very clean with all the things you may need plus extras. Plenty of paper towels/toilet paper/household supplies. A dog bed was supplied which was very much appreciated! Water pressure great and bed comfortable to us with good pillows. Towels and beach towels supplied. We had fires inside the cabin with duraflame logs since it was a rainy cold weekend. Plenty of nearby places to eat and/or pick up from. The riverfront access is down the road and across the street from the actual cabin but it is a very nice spot with lots of shade and wild mint growing everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay, the decor and the ambience of the Casita was relaxing and chill, would stay here again at the drop of a hat!
We loved Basecamp and plan on returning. We were able to take our pup which was nice and the on and off site water activities were great! I recommend taking your own life jackets if you have the space in case the ones they have are in use. We also liked that there businesses close so you don't want to drive to another town. By the way, the people of Ingram are super sweet which is a rarity these days. We will definately be back!
This was a beautiful cabin and I had a relaxing stay! I wasn’t a fan of the memory foam mattress but overall the stay was pleasant.

Awesome!
The Rocking F Rambler was super clean, spacious and stocked with everything needed. The grounds were well kept and pretty. Private access to a beautiful spot on the Guadalupe was our favorite! Will definitely stay again.
Thoughtfully furnished and stocked. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more. The cabin was very clean, very comfortable bed and nice furnishings. Kitchen had all you could need plus a grill on the back patio. The area is very quiet and the cabin looks out at the lake with a gorgeous canopy of live oak trees. We will be back!
Very good customer service, beautiful property, very quaint and loved the layout. They had every thing we needed and more. LOVED the hot tub! Thank you.
