Beautiful space

Absolutely stunning views from the lookout tower, everything was clean and neat. My teenager loved the lookout tower, while I enjoyed staying indoors with the AC on while I worked. The boys went to the Volcano Park and had a blast, and also enjoyed a walk along the surfer beach just off the property. We drove to the 'swimming beach' but didn't go in, just drove to see the sights. Rainbow Falls isn't too far of a drive, and was beautiful. Would def stay again, and highly recommend. We had no need to contact the owner, but communication pre-booking was responded to quickly.

terrific location

We loved the location that was convenient to all the things we wanted to see and experience. The cottage was charming and met our requirements nicely. The view from the perch was wondrous and we enjoyed watching the surfers.

Perfect location, great hosts!

Quaint little property right on the ocean and close to downtown. Hosts were delightful and very accommodating. Views were great from their observation deck- perfect for reading, watching surfers and whales. Would definitely stay here again!

Husband and wife are retired.Both worked in the local medical community. We enjoy living on the ocean and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the observation deck

Why they chose this property

This is an ohana studio attached but separate from our home. It does not have an ocean view.

What makes this property unique

Unit is clean and modern with cable modem internet access and cable TV. 3 minute walk to Honolii Black Sand beach. This beach is the best surfing beach in Hilo and has a great beach for relaxing, swimming, reading and sunbathing. Guests are able to use the lanai and observation deck and barbecue. The rental is located on a quiet street where guests can take walks for 20 minutes.
