About this property

Away from the crowds yet close to everything

Welcome to Galveston Island known for its beaches and rich history. Galveston offers many attractions such as Schlitterbahn Water Park and Moody Gardens where glass pyramids house sharks, monkeys and other animals. Visit the historical Galveston Pleasure Pier with shops, restaurants, arcade and amusement rides all out over the ocean. There is a train museum and two WWII ship museums at Seawolf Park. Johnson Space Center,
mission control, is twenty minutes away. Lastly Galveston hosts one of the largest historical districts in the country. The Strand District has the largest collection of early 19th Century commercial architecture anywhere in the United States. The city also hosts a half dozen or more of famous Victorian Style mansions open to the public. Come play, relax and enjoy the rich history.
Construction on the heated pool will begin on Monday, August 18th. This pool will be closed from August 18 to around Thanksgiving time. Once I have a completion date I will let everyone know. Please let your guests know about the construction and closure of this pool. There is construction going on but not to this unit.

All bathrooms are located upstairs. There is a small set of stairs (8 treads) after the 3rd floor elevator to reach our front door.

Great condo getaway! Very clean and comforatbale unit. Good views of the ocean and pool area from the balcony. Staff is friendly and maintain the common areas very well. Convenient location to everything on the island.

Beautiful property

Everything was great. Had a small problem with the kitchen sink (thought it wouldn’t drain, ended up being a cup stuck in it) the owner sent someone out that day got it taken care of. Pool was beautiful. Condo was amazing and spacious especially for 5 kids. Only problem was the pool wasn’t open 24/7 for the kids lol. Would recommend staying there. I would stay there again.

Great Vrbo stay!

This was a wonderful place for a Galveston getaway. Our property manager, Larry, was so great to work with. He made sure everything met our satisfaction. Resort has three pools and a hot tub and so close to the beach. Beautiful place to stay.

First time VRBO

VRBO website was a little confusing at first without help. Communication with owner was great. Facility should explain parking rules up front. We had a good time with no problems

Awesome!

We had a great time staying at this condo. The condo was clean and had everything we needed and had plenty of space. The view from our balcony was probably the best on the property. The owner was extremely helpful and stayed in communication with us. The pool was amazing and I would love to stay here again in the future.

Very nice condo! I LOVED our stay!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. I LOVE the view of the large patio balcony of the pool and the ocean. The condo was very clean and AC was very cool. So glad it looked just like the pictures posted. The property is clean and pools are sparkling. Thank you so much for hosting me and my family. Beautiful Views

We truly enjoyed our stay on Labor Day weekend. The condo has beautiful views directly facing the gulf, which was so nice to see out of the windows and from the large balcony. The amenities were great too - the pool area and huge and always clean. There are multiple pools, volleyball court, seating areas, etc. there is public beach access directly across the street which was easy and convenient. I loved that it’s just a bit further down from the main busy part of seawall blvd so we were able to avoid big crowds at the beach. The host is very quick to respond and is helpful. Thanks again and we look forward to staying again in the future.

Nice place to stay!

It was a very nice condo on the inside, it was clean and the appliances were nice. The water pressure was terrible, but that was the only negative inside the condo. Outside was so so, there was construction going on, and one of the elevators was out, it just happened to be the one we needed. The beach is close and there was parking everyday even on the 4th of July. Overall we had a great stay!

Girls trip

It was perfect! The beach is across a busy street but the pool is amazing so we didn’t get in the ocean. The lady at check in told us there wasn’t a elevator for us and it’s on the 3rd floor!! We took all of our luggage up 87 stairs!!! When we walked out we saw people going to the right out of the front door and down 10 steps there was a elevator!!!! So if you stay there, there is a elevator!!!! The condo is perfect!! If you go out the door in the 2nd Bedroom you can see the sunset & out the other bedroom watch the sunrise!! The owner was great to work with and responded quick with any questions!!

Was a great stay for our family trip!!

The condo was great, a little dated but clean and roomy enough for me, two adult children and their significant others. It was on the seawall away from the hustle and bustle and right across the street from the beach! The condo is on the 3rd floor, with access to an elevator, looking right out to the pool and beach areas. It really was a beautiful view. The host was quick to respond to my emails and made sure I had all the information needed for an easy check in. The only things that bothered me was 1. The gym was not in use. I know some people may not use the gym while on vacation, but we do. So, with it being closed it was a little disappointing. 2.On our 3rd day, the elevator stopped working!! It wasn't a huge deal for those of us in our party who are "younger" (w/ me being the oldest at 52) and pretty fit since we had already carried our luggage and groceries up. However, my 76-year-old father was coming up for dinner that day and before we had known about the elevator being inoperable, my parents had climbed the 69 steps it took to get to our room! I felt horrible for my father!! None of the issues had anything to do with the host personally but are things that just happen. We looked at the silver lining and figured with the gym not working and 69 stairs getting to our room and 17 stairs to get to the bathroom on our 2nd floor...we were having "leg day" everyday! lol Life is all about how you look at it! Overall, it was a great stay, and I would stay again!

The condo was perfect. Kids loved the pool. Adults loved the fact it was close to town and just a walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend for someone else to stay. Checkout was also awesome.

We would stay here again

We loved everything about the rental. Close to everything, my girls loved the pool area. We were also able to check in a little early. We did have trouble using the sofa sleeper. We couldn't get it to fold completely down. Thankfully we brought an air mattress just incase. Two of the guest slept on there the whole time. But other than that we had not complaints. Still gave a 5 star rating.

Perfect mini vaca

The outside of building is under construction so it does not look very nice I am guessing that is why there are not any pics of actual building. But once we got checked it it was perfect the place was very clean everything as listed we loved it and will probably book again. Close to everything but far enough from the busy part which is what we liked . The owner was very accommodating and very quick in responding. We give it a great place to stay
