New Year's Celebration

We had a great time with 3 families in the house. There was plenty at the house to keep kids entertained and good hiking nearby. Everything in the house worked well (TV is Giant) and I would recommend to anyone looking for an easy getaway from Atlanta.

We felt comfortable in the home, half of us are very particular about our cleanliness & so thankful this place felt clean. We appreciate how up to date and new the cabin felt. Spectacular cabin

On-line description could not tell all that was available. Our family of 20, had a wonderful time and was never bored. There is so much available to do. Plenty to do inside (billiards, games, video console) and outside (basketball, fishing, kayaking, fire pit, we even had space for a wiffle ball game). The home was perfect and kitchen well stocked with utensils for everything. Definitely a special place to make memories.

Beautiful Place and GREAT Kitchen

Everything was ideal if not perfect at this cabin. A great location for a brief getaway with friends or family. The kitchen has everything a professional cook could ever want or need. Due to covid, we had to bring our own ingredients, but that was a fair trade for using such a beautiful facility. The cabin had beautiful views and functionally has activities to keep you busy throughout the night. The only bad thing I can say about this cabin was not related to the cabin itself. There were some noninclusive and scary neighbors, but if you stayed within your zone and minded your business you'll definitely have fun regardless of these external factors. Overall, loved this place and would definitely rebook if able!

This home offers a large fully equipped eat-in kitchen with a bar, decorated with a mountain river stone and two extra seating areas for large groups. Cathedral ceilings with large great room. Level 1 has over-sized game/TV room with a queen-size sofa sleeper and large bedroom with a king bed and two bunks. A bedroom on this level has a king size bed. Level 2 has a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a bunk bed, large bathroom with double sinks and a laundry room. There is a living room on the same level with large leather sofa. Upstairs level-3 features a great loft with sofa sleepers (twin and king size) and master bedroom with king-size bed/bath. There is also a small loft on level 4 in master room with 2 matrasses twin size.
It's all about the nature! This place gives you a unique opportunity in exploring the woods on and around the property, where you're likely to spot wildlife, take a walk to Carters Lake for some good fishing, kayaking, or enjoy the spectacular nature view from the cabin' decks, sitting in rocking chairs or near the fire pit, listening to the sounds of nature and enjoying the fresh mountain air. Bring your kids to play basketball on Basketball court or any games outside far from tablets and computer games. Let your body to relax and soak in the hot tub, gazing to the night sky to count stars or find constellations.
This charming cottage is located just a short drive to downtown Ellijay, wineries, orchards, and mountain rivers, waterfalls.
Farm-fresh produce lovers can spend their days picking apples at orchards, having different farm funs.
Short words, Lake Carters resort is the perfect spot for family reunions, get-togethers, and large parties filled with incredible memories.
