Great place to stay with everything you need. If you are looking for a place to stay without the distractions of modern amenities (no internet and just a few TV channels), it is the place to go. Plenty of hiking trails/roads to hike on and plenty of other things to do. We really loved the comfy beds and plenty of spaces to hang out, talk and play games.
This place was perfect! Nice clean cozy place for me and my husband with our little furbaby! Would definitely recommend this place. We will be going back for sure !
Very nice and large cabin. Wonderful screened in porch. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use all the amenities- but I’ll rent again hopefully in the fall. If you have a boat- the launch is nearby!
Had a quick, two night stay to relax, laugh, rest, laugh, puzzle, laugh, play... did i mention laugh? We ate, visited and just hung out together. The cabin was perfect for what we needed!

Loved the large screened porch and private yard! Inside the cabin was clean and comfortable. It is the only place on the last hundred yards or so of a dead end road. A short walk from the Mississippi River and a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk to a beautiful State Park with great hiking.
If you are a light sleeper the trains might be an issue but we thought it was cool to have those distant train whistles.
Well-maintained cabin not far from Lock 6 on the Mississippi river. Has a screened porch, useful on days when mosquitos are active. There is a fire pit with firewood to enjoy evenings outside. A gas grill is also on-site to grill some steaks, should you decide to. Beds are comfortable. Owners take great care to make sure your experience is as good as it can be.
