Second time did not disappoint !

I stayed in February 2025 and loved this location and VRBO so much that I returned with family to celebrate my brother’s birthday. The unit is clean,and all the essentials that we needed were present. A perfect size for three couples. We really enjoyed sipping coffee in the morning on the outdoor patio. The location is perfect, and quiet. We were able to walk everywhere which was a major convenience. We’ll be back !

Girl trip

A perfect place to stay with the girls( friends for 50 years)! Quick to respond regarding minor TV and ice maker issues . Peter ( handyman)was so prompt and helpful !!! Location close to King St and shopping. The Sugar shop across the street was an added bonus! Highly recommend!

Great stay for girls trip!

I stayed here for a girls trip and the house was great! It's in a cute neighborhood that felt very safe. The host always got back to my messages very quickly. Having 3 bathrooms was very convenient and I was impressed that they each had their own hairdryer. The only issue is that if there are guests in the upstairs unit you will hear them if they're loud or walking around but it mostly wasn't an issue for us. And no bugs! (I am afraid of bugs so this is important to me)

Really Nice Place..

The place is really pretty and the check in and out was great.. Couple of things.. The bathroom off the second bedroom is really small.. Almost like on an airplane - but with a shower. Plus other then the master, the bedroom didn't have closets. Just a pain because we stayed for several days.

Cannon Street duplex

Getting there was tricky since Google Maps sent us to Spring St. After that we figured out that Sugar Bakery served as a good landmark since it's across the street. We squeezed down the driveway to find 60.5 in the back. The place was clean, modern, roomy, and nicely decorated. The king-size bed has seen better days but the pillows and sheets were extra nice. The YourPad emails were nice but a tad excessive. I would stay again and recommend it to others.

Great space, location, and Service

The colonial charm of this property is inviting and comfortable. Management provided very specific instructions to help us get settled in and responded swiftly to the one inquiry we made. They have done a great job of bringing this space to life. We enjoyed watching movies together during the evening, sitting on the large front porch late into the night watching the beautiful sky, and listening to the soothing chorus of nature's nightlife. Also, this space really is a 10-minute or less walk to restaurants and shopping. Be aware that old buildings can be a bit noisy when people are moving around in the upstairs unit. Kudos to the Your Pad team for making this stay awesome!

Surprise stay

Our initial reaction was shock because the place had NOT been cleaned at all from the previous users. We are so glad we discovered this at 6pm instead of 10pm when we retired for the night. Thank God the owners responded quickly and we were very relieved to find it clean that night. The home was beautiful & relaxing!! One misleading factor is the laundry is NOT in the home like we were led to believe. Laundry is outside the home, shared with 3 other duplexes, so we did not do laundry as planned. One other complaint, it was extemely difficult to pull out on to the busy street, limited visibililty to the parked cars too close to the driveway. We are thankful there were no accidents!

Really cute place, great neighborhood location with several coffee & sandwich shops near by (Co-op, Bad Bunnies, Holy City Bagel, etc.) We had 3 couples in our group. Beds were comfy, really nice that there were 3 (small) bathrooms and kitchen had everything we needed. The apartment had been given a facelift but some aspects were a little worn - as to be expected given age of most units in Charleston. We took advantage of the porch a few times too. The unit does sit behind the main house, so the porch looks at the house in front & parking lot, but we didn't mind. Felt nice and private. Overall great stay, would rent again.

The property is conveniently located to a few restaurants and coffee shops. Our host was extremely responsive and understanding of the questions we had regarding rain and flash flooding in the area during our stay. It is very spacious and comfortably appointed. Very appreciative of the onsite parking as the house is located in the historic district. Given that it is an older home, expect to hear people in the upstairs residence and on the stairs.

Wonderful stay! We were in town as our daughter was checking out the College of Charleston and we decided to spend a few days. We had four adults and two teens and we all had plenty of room. Bonus was the three full bathrooms! The place was exactly what was advertised. Communication between management was excellent. Bonus was two parking spots and the convenience to King Street.

Great location, just found some things to be a little dirty and not working as properly as they could. For instance, one bathroom shower wouldn’t drain, the kitchen faucet was super lose and the rug in the main area was filthy. The two rocking chairs outside we were afraid to sit in because they were falling apart and lastly both outlets outside did not work and were almost falling off the building.

Quick Family Getaway

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My husband and I hurt our pinky toes kicking the bed frame as we were unpacking. It made it difficult to walk without limping, so be mindful of the king-sized bed frame if you stay in that room. Other than that, everything was true to the listing. It was great to unwind at the well appointed house in the quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, water pressure and temperatures were great and porch was a nice little bonus to have coffee on. We loved the little Pinot and Provisions place around the corner on Rutledge, had breakfast at Holey City Bagels and some afternoon dessert from The Sugar Shop, both of which were on the opposite side of the street within steps of the house. Our teenage boys loved it and we were happy that they were happy. It is a little gem and definitely would like to stay there again.
