Everything was great and booking was easy. The location was good, close to lakes for fishing and the national park, but close to town to try restaurants. The host had laid out a nice welcome book with suggestions and addresses which was really helpful for out of towners!
Beautiful house in a great location. Perfect for exploring Cuyahoga National Park, only about 10 minutes away. Very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of storage space, beautiful view of the lake, with lots of windows. We had good communication with the owner. It has a nice washer & dryer in the basement. Highly recommended!!
Completely remodeled interior. Very clean, quiet and convenient location near Cuyahoga National Park and nearby towns with numerous dining options. Odd kitchen table location and uncomfortable couch. Host communication was good and prompt. Would stay at home again.

Thanks for the review Doug! Thank you again for bringing the broken spring in the couch to our attention. The couch has since been replaced with a brand new couch. We look forward to hosting you again!
The home owners were great to deal with. They communicated better than any other place we have stayed. The location was conveniently located near hiking and biking trails. The house is very clean and the layout was convenient, minus the dining table being on the opposite side of the house.
The house was clean and well cared for and perfectly located for our trip to Cuyahoga Nat’l Park. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, clean place to stay within a short drive to many great trails for hiking and enjoying nature
The couch is very uncomfortable. You may as well sit on the floor. Every move you make it squeaks and you sink right down in it. Also a lamp in the living room area would be nice. You don’t want to keep the overhead light on all evening.

This is a retaliatory review from a guest who broke house rules and was an absolute
nightmare to host.
It is rare for me to leave a negative review, but unfortunately this guest left me no choice.
From the moment this guest arrived, they made numerous demands and communicated in a rude and confrontational manner.
Their expectations were unrealistic, and they did not treat the property with respect.
Future guests - please read all other reviews and note the property is listed accurately. Thanks!
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was spotless, everything felt new and well cared for, and it was very comfortable. Being right on the small lake made it so peaceful, and the neighborhood was quiet and lovely. The location was convenient and getting in and out was very easy. We were visiting our daughter while she works toward her doctorate at Kent State University, and this was the perfect spot for our trip. We would happily stay here again.
Great little house near cuyahoga valley national park
Great property in a very nice location! Loved being close to food amd shopping options but also close to Cuyahoga national park to get out into nature..
Clean property, very close to the national park and downtown Akron. Close by there is a park for the kids to play and a good amount of stores and food options within couple miles.
