About this property

Chautauqua country home. Boat, snowmobile, fishing, wineries, family get away.

Located in the country, 5 minutes from Chautauqua Lake and 20 minutes from the world-famous Chautauqua Institution. About 7 minutes from Bemus Point where you can find restaurants, shopping, watersport rentals and a boat launch. 5 minutes from Midway Amusement Park, Long Point State Park which has a boat launch, Dollar General. 10 minutes from Mayville where you'll find another public boat launch, park, Tops, a hardware and several churches. We are also 10 minutes from Westfield where you can easily hop onto the Wine Trail. Just a short 20 minutes away you will find the Lucy Desi Museum and The National Comedy Center. You can also jump onto a main snowmobile trail from our backyard.

We have a large yard to bring your outdoor lawn games. There's a firepit in the backyard to enjoy and make some s'mores at. A small front porch is perfect to watch our stunning sunsets. And a back deck has a grill, a picnic table and chairs to relax at.

The kitchen has a large butcher block island/bar to sit at or prepare your food. Kitchen is fully equipped. We have a FlexBrew to make your coffee or hot specialty beverages. It is K-cup compatible. There is a stackable washer and dryer to use if needed off the kitchen where you'll also find the half bathroom.

All three bedrooms feature ceiling fans. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a private shower. The second bathroom has a shower/tub combo and a flip down second toilet site to accommodate the little ones.

We have a driveway that can handle your boats and trailers. At the end of the house, we have an outside outlet to plug in your boat equipment if needed. And another one in the green shed.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE. This home sleeps 8. Booking is for 2 guests. Additional guests are $15 per person per night after that.

Well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional charge. There is no way when you book to charge for additional pets after the first one. TAKE NOTE PLEASE. WE WILL SEND YOU VIA VRBO REQUESTING THE PET FEE FOR ADDITIONAL PETS PAST THAT 1ST ONE. IT IS $10 PER PET PER NIGHT. We do not want any confusion about the pet fee. We are sorry but VRBO makes it only available in the booking when you book to charge for the 1 pet. This is why we have to do it that way. We do expect the owners to clean up after their pets. If we do have to clean up after any pet, we charge an additional cleaning fee. We have an outdoor fenced in area for pets. DO NOT leave your pets unattended please! We do not want anything to happen to them and will not be held responsible.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

All garage needs to be collected and put out in the bins in the green shed. We check and remove for the longer stays. Don't forget to the can at dog area if you bring pets.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Stay out of the woods and horse pasture. Respect our neighbors. NO loose pets, cleanup after them extra cleaning charge for us picking up their waste.

Absolutely NO parties or events will be tolerated on our property!

NO smoking in ANY form in our home. Smoking is allowed outside the home and you MUST pick up after yourselves.

Our stay was ok….well water was a surprise to us….a few things needed to be fixed…enjoyed conversing with the rooster next door!

This is a VERY misleading false review from this guest. A few days AFTER they left she sent me a message with things that she thought needed fixing in our home. We went over immediately to check on these items and found that they didn't even need fixing. We simply cannot "fix" a toilet falling off of a wall when it isn't even connected to the wall! We have traditional freestanding tank toilets. Firmly bolted to the floor. They aren't going anywhere. Not sure how that was missed by this guest. Yes we do have well water as we live in the country. So if you are use to the chemical chlorine in your water in towns or the city it will be different for you. We do however have a very nice filtration system in our home. If guests have special wants or needs. Then they need to be diligent in their search. Do NOT falsely state there's things that need "fixing" because there was something that you wanted that we did not have. As people can see by the photos our home is not handicap accessible nor do we advertise it as such. Do not make false statements if a home is missing something that you want or may need. Read the listing carefully. Take note of the photos. If you have questions about the home then you contact the owner to get answers. BEFORE booking. We (hosts) aim to please our guests and want them to have an enjoyable stay.

Home was very clean, spacious and kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Such a beautiful , peaceful setting and saw deer each morning. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck each morning and evening after we were done exploring the area. Thank you to hosts Aimee & Steve for the attention to detail. We will definitely return!

This was a great place to stay with our 2 dogs and a cat! It was very spacious inside with a large yard, and fenced in dog yard. The host was kind and responsive and we have no complaints!

We have been staying at chautauqua lake for yrs. At the koa , first time its been closed this early, this place is just as close and way more enjoyable. Perfect for relaxation after fishing all day.

Family reunion

We stayed here for a family reunion with a second house on the lake. This property was perfect location and comfortably slept 6 of us. It was clean and offered amenities that made our stay easy and relaxed. We would definitely stay again!

Relaxing Getaway

Very clean and spacious home with everything we needed for a great getaway. Beautiful yard thats very quiet and relaxing yet just minutes away from everything that we wanted to do. We will definitely rent this place again.
