Spent our anniversary weekend in this cabin close to seven springs resort. The cabin was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. It was a close drive to seven springs resort which we spend a day at their fall festival. Frank was great with communication at check in.
My overall impression was good, but with some observations:- as a 65 yr old, there were a lot of steps here. Kept my heart rate going, but it was a bit much.- same goes for the narrow spiral stairs to the loft; they were a bit too much for me to contemplate using.- finally, unfortunately the main level bath had developed a leak that wasn't fully addressed by our arrival date; halving the bathing/shower option to one. We we only 3 in total and were able to coordinate our timing during the stay.Afraid that I have been spoilt by prior single level stays in this area and I will have to seek that in the future. But I think that younger folks with good knees will be happy here.
We loved our stay at the cabin. It was perfect for 7 adults. The campfire space was perfect and we had a blast on our overnight trip.

We couldn’t wait to leave this place. This cabin has a very serious mold problem. It’s my opinion that the level of mold is so bad that people should not be staying in this place. It’s very outdated. It’s dirty and littered with cobwebs. We paid luxury prices and got old, dirty, mold infested cabin with no air conditioning. We left feeling physically ill, disgusted and ripped off. Stay away !!!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your stay didn’t meet your expectations.
Our cabin is located in a wooded mountain setting where humidity can be higher, so we have dehumidifiers throughout the cabin and have it professionally cleaned after every guest to maintain a clean and comfortable environment. The rustic feel is part of the cabin’s character and is reflected in our listing. We also clearly note in our listing that the cabin does not have air conditioning, so guests know what to expect before booking.
During your stay, we were happy to provide additional towels upon request and were glad to help. At no point were any of these concerns brought to our attention. Had we known you were dissatisfied, we would have done everything we could to address your concerns and make your stay more enjoyable, as guest satisfaction is always our top priority.
The cabin here was a comfortable and off the beaten path. I would recommend this location as it's priced fairly. Especially nice as it is pet friendly! The host is very responsive and flexible to work out further details such as extension of time. I'd definitely consider booking this location again.
Great base for skiing at Seven Springs or hiking. Cool retro vibe but doesn’t feel dated at all. A bit chilly if it’s really cold (~10 degrees) but fire up the awesome fireplace and throw on a blanket, and you’ll be fine. Would definitely stay again.

Not Clean
The place hadn’t been cleaned at all from the previous stay, prior to our arrival. The property manager was quick to reply when we reached out and let us know it would be taken care of while we were out. We left for a few hours and when we returned, it was still the same dirty bedding, just made. Nothing had been vacuumed or wiped down either. Again, property manager was very nice but overall it was disappointing and, quite frankly, gross

Hi Cory, thank you so much for your feedback. I really wish you would have communicated the cleanliness wasn’t up to par when you got back from dinner because we would have made it right.
We pride ourselves on giving our guests the best possible experience and keeping the cabin up to date with high cleanliness standards is a fundamental pillar we diligently work to achieve for each of our guests. In the two years we’ve been hosting our home and after dozens of thrilled experiences and 5 star reviews on Airbnb and VRBO this is the first time we’ve had gotten this kind of feedback. Again terribly sorry for the experience.

Disappointing and overpriced stay in retrospect.I realize this was probably an offseason rental for this property which likely thrives during ski season; and for this reason the overgrown and overall external state of the property is worth overlooking. However the inside of the property made this stay unenjoyable. It was extraordinarily musty, Dehumidifiers were on upon arrival which I could only assume were turned on earlier that day. It was evident that the property had not been aired out in some time. One of the dehumidifiers was already full and off downstairs which we dumped and restarted (this cut off in the middle of the night because it had filled up again that’s how musty and damp the property was, and these were not small dehumidifiers). The downstairs was dusty, cobwebbed and dressed in old carpet. The odor and general stagnant air was extremely unpleasant. My almost 70 year old mother slept on top of the bedsheets opting not to enter the sheets. In one room there was a “carpet” like decoration hanging above one of the beds, this particular decoration was dust covered, and the guests in that room woke up itchy eyed and sniffly attributing it to this.It is hard to provide such negative feedback for a stay at what is clearly someone’s family cabin. But unfortunately I can not avoid the truly disappointing aspects of this stay. We did not contact the property owner about our disappointment, so will assume they would have tried to make our stay more pleasurable.
Spacious cabin in a nice setting. Sitting out on the deck watching the birds was very relaxing. It was a comfortable place to stay for our group of 5 adults.
Excellent place to stay for a night for a few. We used the outside fire pit to make smores. The space inside was perfect for our needs. It's a cabin in the woods. Perfect for what we wanted. Think of it as upgraded camping accommodations and you'll be happy with what you get.
If/when we come back, I would totally rent this place again.
The cabin and decor are beautiful. Lots of room for indoor activities. Fire Pit and wrap around porch for outdoor. Location is great for 7 Springs. highly recommended
