Well-equipped, gorgeous view. The only snag was the instructions to drive our garbage to a municipal waste center. They were all closed the day we checked out (Tuesday). So we then drove around looking for a dumpster. Not a great ending to an otherwise relaxing stay. Even so, we highly recommend this cabin.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Big Round Cabin. We found it to be clean and the mountain views from inside the home and on the large deck were stunning! Coffee in the morning and sunsets at night on the deck were the best! Owners were great and quick to reply to any questions we had!

We enjoyed our stay. However, because of mobility concerns, we will probably not be back. The cabin was very clean but….the stairs and showers were a concern for us as we are in our 70s. The road up to the cabin was longer than expected and had so many hairpin turns!But the cabin and view were lovely! Even our pups enjoyed the deck!

Guest asked no questions about the house or property before booking, but came with unmentioned physical limits that are mentioned in their review for the first time, then rated us on them. Our photos are accurate including the 3 inch “step over threshold” to get in the shower. Please ask if you have limits, we’d be happy to make sure you get to the right cabin! Cheers

We loved our stay! Great communication with the host. Loved the privacy and view but it comes with a drive that is fun and steep, like all mountain drives! Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely loved our stay here. This cabin was wonderful. The views are beautiful, rain or shine. Love how Blowing Rock and Boone are close by to this peaceful property. You can easily go out for a meal or shopping, then come back to enjoy time sitting on the porch and relax. The hosts are excellent. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this cabin!

We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful views, which were amazing. The hosts were always available via the VRBO app. We had everything we needed at the cabin.The drive up to the cabin was a bit steeper than we expected. Not being used to mountain roads, my wife did not enjoy the trip up and down the mountain. We did make it up safely and without issues in a 2WD Jeep. Just be mentally prepared for a steep, windy drive.All in All the whole family had a great time in the area and definitely had a relaxing time at the Big Round Cabin.

The property was exceptionally clean, with amazing views and beautiful furniture. We liked how close the property was to various hiking destinations, and enjoyed seeing the small town of Blowing Rock. A visit to the Blowing Rock Art & History Museum was very enjoyable. Open communications with the owner and property manager was a plus. Would definitely recommend staying at this location.

We loved this cabin! It was very clean, amazing views inside and out on the deck, very quiet and peaceful. Communication went very well too. Great location only a few minutes to Blowing Rock and of course all of the mountain activities nearby year around.

I honestly cannot say enough nice things. Check in was easy, driving directions were provided and accurate, the cabin was clean and had all the essentials for cooking and cleaning. It was quiet and the deck was amazing! We will be coming again for sure.

Beautiful, secluded cabin. All rooms were clean and comfortable. They mean what they say about the drive up - you have to be comfortable driving mountain gravel secondary roads (I would add "steep uphill" to that description). The view from the deck is amazing! Communication with the hosts was great. The location is convenient for day trips to Boone and downtown Blowing Rock.We arrived during the hottest heat wave of the summer (so far) so did not use the fireplace, but did use the hot tub, which was clean and enough space for 4 to relax in the evenings. We will definitely return for a chance to see the fall change of colors via the view from that deck!

Host met us and was welcoming and helpful. House was so comfortable for my family. 4x4 is 100% necessary for this stay and we enjoyed the feeling of being so secluded.

Thanks for coming to our cabin! We get cars of all types easily to this cabin in Spring Summer and Fall, As mentioned in winter months due to snow and ice we require a 4x4 or AWD vehicle. But only in those months.

Amazing views! Private and quiet. A big cabin with plenty of space. The bedrooms and beds are comfortable. Very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals. A very nice fireplace. The hot tub is huge, clean and was amazing. Everything is as pictured and great communication with the host. It is a neat area to explore. I am glad we stayed two nights!
