Close to the tourist attraction, but way off of the beaten path for a quiet and relaxing evening. Historical story was cool and our dog really liked it as well

The check-in process and communication were easy and great. I did not realize this property had so much history which was cool to learn and read about. This was very close to all the hiking we wanted to do which was great. The only thing I’ll say is that the cabin wasn’t very clean. The bathroom drain had hair it in from previous guests and the bed sheets were ripped and had stains on them. We could not find the bedroom remote and looked under the bed and there was a lot of garbage under it, water bottles and wrappers. But otherwise the cabin was neat to visit and learn about.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay in our area and enjoyed the cabins history. I am sooo sorry about the cleanliness of the cabin! That is not at all how we trained our cleaning lady. I will address these issues so they do not happen again. Those sheets will absolutely get replaced with new ones!

Everything was great but it said it slept 3 adults but it was only a double bed and couch did not pull out into bed and was small so it was uncomfortable for that adult

This cabin is ideally located for visiting the New River Gorge National Park. The host, Tiffany, was responsive to my questions and made the check-in and check-out process very easy.

The old log cabin was comfy. The property had junk trailers setting around and the grass wasn’t cut. It met our needs but thought it was overpriced. If you want to cook while you are there there wasn’t a lot of pot and pans. We enjoyed mtn biking at the arrowhead trials.
