The place has it all - everything anyone could want. It was unbelievably quiet - we slept like babies. All the appointments, great spot right on the water. The owner was the most accommodating that we've seen in many years.

Kevin and his family are great guests.. They are always welcome to stay anytime they're in town.
Thank you Kevin!
We had such a delightful experience at this location! It was filled with amenities, entertainment, and it was in fantastic condition. The heavenly spot was next to the Trinity River and in a quiet, safe location. The cottage was equipped with kayaks and fishing poles ready to go. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil getaway! The owners are so hospitable and have prepared the cottage with everything you can think of needing. All you need to bring is your loved ones, a good book and get ready to get lost from the stress of life.

It is defiantly a lake house. We had plenty of room, beds were smaller, no master sweet. The cleanliness was not great, lots of spiders and bugs. Pots and pans were scorched. For what we paid it was not up to such a high price.
I really want to give a bad review so that this property is available when we want to come back but I just can’t do it.
This was the PERFECT accommodation for our trip. Travelled to the area to visit family that live close by. Parents, kids, grandkids all together enjoying rain and cold for the first few days. The amenities provided were exactly what we needed. Miguel thought of everything….board games, video games, dart board, crossword puzzle books, grill, fire pit, fishing equipment, kayaks. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and cookware. Made it very easy to have meals at the house. And the man cave?! The guys were in heaven. Grab this up quick because I’m sure it will be gone
Miguel was one of the best hosts we've ever had. He was readily available when needed (due to some plumbing issues), and he arrived to reassure us that he was trying to handle the issues ASAP. The home is beautiful, and at the end of the cul-de-sac. This was my Daddy's top choice, and for all the right reasons. You can look off of the balcony at the river, walk down to the river and fish off of the dock, or just chill in the backyard by the firepit. The kids chilled most of the week in their little hide-away downstairs, and the adults played games all weekend. Miguel, you're such a sweet man, and I really appreciate all that you tried to accomplish. We enjoyed EVERY moment at your home!!
The property sits almost open to the river, very easy for early morning fishing when all the boaters are still asleep. Very serene place. Pretty roomy house with everything you need to spend a few days! Our boys loved the game room, where they slept and watched tv, played darts and so on. Loved the availability of kayak to use and ease of communication with the owner of the property! We definitely enjoyed our stay and hopefully get to come back for more weekends.
Great house in a great location. Literally walk out the front door and fish off the docks every day. Beautiful quiet screened in porch. Downstairs mancave was our 16 years old son's dream. If it had a microwave down there we would have never seen him ;) House had everything we needed and then some. Hope to be back again some day soon!
