Great property and location for our needs. Would've been helpful to have a map of the facility to know where the pool was since things are spread out l.
This home is BEAUTIFUL and was SO COMFORTABLE! My teenagers are asking to go back asap- it was a terrific long holiday weekend but ended way too soon! Thank you for renting this special home to me and my family over Thanksgiving. We can’t wait to visit again!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
The home was very clean. The location is excellent and we had no problems with the property. Checking in was very difficult. There was an extra step in the process to “verify” my identity that I thought was complete. I thought this step was complete after my credit card was charged. After driving 3 hours we arrived and our code was not valid. We contacted the “host” and attempted to remedy the situation. After speaking with the host several times, we were told that we needed to cancel the original arrangement and rebook directly with the host. Coupled with little to no cell service (the house WiFi was not available), we had to travel several miles down the mountain to get to a place where we could re-book the home. After spending 2hours trying to get in the house, we finally were able to enter. We have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals using different agents and hosts and have never experienced this type of situation. Last fall we traveled throughout Canada and New England staying at 12 different homes and never had any issues. The host needs to change their archaic methods regarding the check in process. To summarize, a long weekend getaway turned out to be anything but that at the start.
The property was exactly as shown in the photos. All the windows looking out onto a wooded area in the back make for a nice view. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The townhome was super clean upon arrival. Loved occasional sightings of deer in the area. Close to both Boone and Blowing Rock.
