Southwestern decor and well stocked with everything you need to relax, cook, and play. Great walking and biking trails and wildlife abound. Perfect for families or working remotely. Maximum 6 people. Enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at this location once before and returned again. For us, this location works well. The property and the neighborhood are great for our needs. Nice improvements to the patio area. Hope to return to this property once again.

Nice home- Well equipped and well stocked

Owners were very accommodating, allowing us to view the property a year before our rental and meeting some special requests we had. Home was cozy, well equipped and well stocked. We experienced some issues with the technology, but owners were quick to address them. The long term rental and AC were "must haves" for us. The road next to the home did generate some noise as noted in other reviews. Lastly, we liked to grill on the patio, but we note that the grill has seen better days.

Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed your stay. The barbecue has already been replaced with a new one; we would have done sooner if we had known. Yes, as we discussed last year when you came to preview, we have tried to address the noise as best we can with landscaping, white noise, water fountain, etc. It is a bit of trade off to have a location close to bus stop but away from road noise.

Very nice. Appreciated the white noise machine in master bedroom, which did help with traffic noise. Other bedrooms didn’t have same issue.

Will Rent Again

We were drawn to this rental unit by the 30 day minimum stay provision. That appealed to us for a variety of reasons. We found the rental to be just like portrayed in the listing. We found living in the rental to be "easy." The location turned out to be perfect for our lifestyle. A good place to walk (along the perimeter of a golf course) and convenience to all activities in the area. A little open space nearby offered the opportunity to witness deer on a regular basis. Nice little touch. Good communication with the manager before, during, and after our stay. Responsive. All in all, we are happy with the way our stay turned out. Will rent again.

Fantastic home - completely furnished with all supplies and amenities

This home was exceptionally clean, and well supplied with all the extra "homey" supplies available! We had some friendly mule deer visit the backyard that enjoyed Cheetos!

Durango Summer 2019

We spent 1 month in this beautiful home. All amenities were provided for our daily use, and there was nothing lacking. The proximity to downtown made trips in easy. We saw mule deer almost daily. My only issue was the significant road noise from College Dr.

The property was rented for the month of July, which is usually the hottest month of the year. The road noise is abated by using the homes central air conditioning system. Also, owner will provide a white noise unit to further midigate the noise.

Beautiful home

We enjoyed the beautiful home and area. The wildlife was literally coming up to the back door and there were trails to walk as well as ride bikes. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and family.

Wonderful experience!

We highly recommend this home and property management company--very accommodating! Additionally, the owner and property manager are military family friendly and helped make our week long stay even more feasible. The place is very spacious and easily accommodated our group of 5 adults and 1 child. The home is perfectly situated in a fantastic area in Durango ripe with nearby summer and winter activities. We look forward to visiting Durango again soon and will definitely seek out this home again. Well done and thanks for making our vacation memorable!

We are a retired couple and spend lots of time with kids and grandkids. We enjoy travel and learning about different cultures. The Southwest has always held a special interest for us and the Durango area is ideally located to discover more about that history and culture while enjoying all-season recreational opportunites and excellent restaurants.

Why they chose this property

We originally bought this property while our son attended Fort Lewis College. Our whole family fell in love with Durango and we have had many family gatherings with extended family and friends, kids and grandkids. Every season has something special to offer from bike races to river rafting to fall leaves and the Polar Express train. We love the location for its views and wildlife but also proximity to town. We frequently walk into downtown to shop or enjoy the many restaurants and activites. There is a bus stop adjacent to our house if you want to take advantage of public transportation into downtown. This is a quiet neighborhood but we do have 4 security cameras on the outside of house so we can monitor our home when it is empty. We turn the cameras off when it is occupied.

What makes this property unique

This is a family friendly home that is also suitable for people that want to work remotely. There are 3 desks and the best internet that Durango offers. We include things to make it easy to stay there: a portable baby crib, a printer, spices and basic staples in the cupboard, cleaning supplies, comfortable furniture inside and outside.
