Basement Apartment on Historic Main Street Jackson AMAZING PATIO!
Welcome to our cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment nestled in the heart of a historic downtown neighborhood. This inviting space, filled with modern touches and thoughtful amenities, is the perfect spot for your next getaway.
The newly upgraded kitchenette offers all the essentials, including a sink, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker, and a larger mini fridge/freezer. You'll also find two hot plates and an island, giving you the option to whip up a meal. But if cooking isn’t on the agenda, you’re just a short walk from a variety of excellent restaurants—making this apartment ideal for both home chefs and foodies alike.
Explore the charming local scene with ease, as we're steps away from unique antique shops and top-notch dining options.
After a day of adventures, relax in our well-appointed bedrooms. Bedroom 1 features a plush queen-sized bed, dresser, armoire, desk, and TV, offering a perfect retreat. Bedroom 2 has a fun twin-over-full bunk bed with an additional twin trundle, making it ideal for families or groups. Both bedrooms come with blackout curtains and cable TV to ensure a restful and entertaining stay.
Our spacious bathroom is equipped with everything you need—hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and more. Plus, there's an iron and ironing board available for your convenience.
Step outside to the beautiful patio, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or grill up dinner on the BBQ (don’t forget your propane). The patio also houses a laundry room with a washer and dryer, located in what was once an old-fashioned outhouse, adding a touch of charm to your stay.
For your comfort, we've installed a brand-new HVAC system with one thermostat that also controls a few rooms upstairs. While Bedroom 2 doesn’t have HVAC vents (it’s located in the basement), the room stays comfortable year-round. Though occasional noise from upstairs guests may occur, earplugs are available just in case—though it's rarely an issue.
The Patio is right outside of the laundry room, and is an amazing place to relax. Nothing better than the sound of rain on that tin roof.
This charming apartment, located below Bethany's Home Sweet Haunted Home, is my personal happy place, and I’m excited to share it with you. Book your stay and create unforgettable memories in this delightful space!

This property is historically beautiful. The bookshelf is a must see as well as the history of the house was so intriguing. Definitely going to revisit this lovely home. When visiting Jackson check this place out, especially if your not afraid of ghosts.

So glad we were able to upgrade you to the main house for your special day! I hope you come back to visit us again.
The apartment was clean and well stocked. The host was in constant contact and reached out several times to make sure all was good. Such a wonderful location and we walked to antique shops, morning breakfast, bakery, and a fantastic Italian restaurant. I will definitely stay again.

About the host
Hosted by ELSIE LODDE
My name is Elsie, while I never planned on doing short term rentals, I fell in love with this house and want to share it with the world (when I am not using it). I have traveled to 22 countries and 28 states, so I am well versed in travel and know what is important. Of all the towns and places, Jackson may not be my hometown (I live in Sacramento), but it feels like it. Please let me know if you have any concerns or questions and I am happy to talk all about it!
Why they chose this property
I fell in love with this house when I first saw it. At the time I had a vision of making this apartment separate from the main house so I could come and stay when I wanted. The patio and this space feel like home to me. Although the house is haunted, this space has great energy and as long as you are nice to the house (and me), they will be nice to you as well.
What makes this property unique
Besides the spirits, being this close to Downtown Jackson and all it has to offer, all the events and amazing people, are the best part! Come stay and you will find out exactly what I mean.
