What a cute property! As described and had a few extras, didn’t get to enjoy the back patio but looked very inviting. We had a very smooth late check-in with easy directions. Comfy bed and good shower. We loved the body wash scents!

Maria was so nice and easy to work with. She was even able to adjust my dates when something came up. The house itself is okay but there are some blind spots to the property. The couch is not the couch in the VRBO pics. The couch that is there is pretty uncomfortable and lumpy. There are zero table lamps anywhere in the house. I found that odd. The house has a smell, kind of like a urinal or dampness in general, which explains the many candles available to use. There’s a large vent in the living room that is caked in black dust. It’s something that previous renters mentioned so I thought it was weird that it was still like that when we arrived. There were dirty sheets left next to the washer and a load in the dryer. The house itself is close to anything Michigan City has to offer. Maria gave some recommendations that worked out well for our family.

We loved our stay here, such a cute little place and had everything we needed for our stay! The check-in was super easy and Maria was very quick to respond with any questions we may have had. She also gave some great suggestions for things to do and places to eat at! We loved being so close to the beach as well! Definitely somewhere we’d stay at again!

Cozy Stay in Michigan City

Cozy house with easy access to all sorts of food and travel experiences. Super easy check in, hosts were communicative and provided tons of recommendations of places to check out in the area.

Great Stay!

Everything from booking to troubleshooting the front door lock was perfectly executed. This is a cute spot to stay and the neighborhood is very quiet. We traveled to South Bend for a game and we would book again! Thanks for a great stay.

Pleasant stay on a quit street.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Elm St Retreat. It was close to the restaurants we dined at and close to the Indiana Dunes, which was the primary reason for our trip. The home suited our needs perfectly with amenities you won't find at a hotel.

Nice little place

The house was definitely older but easy location for the beach. Everything you needed for a short stay. The outdoor space needed some attention.
