We loved our stay here, such a cute little place and had everything we needed for our stay! The check-in was super easy and Maria was very quick to respond with any questions we may have had. Great Stay!

Everything from booking to troubleshooting the front door lock was perfectly executed. This is a cute spot to stay and the neighborhood is very quiet. We traveled to South Bend for a game and we would book again! Thanks for a great stay.

Our stay was okay overall, but there were a few issues that impacted our experience. When we arrived, we noticed a few maintenance concerns, including black mold in the bathtub lining and an exposed live wire in the backyard. The host did address the wire by replacing the string lights in the backyard.There was also an issue with the HVAC system. We were told a repair technician would be arriving around 7 PM to add refrigerant to the outdoor unit, but no one arrived at that time. Around 9 PM, the host and others arrived to work on the system and needed to come inside the rental to complete the repair. While we understand that maintenance issues happen, having people arrive late at night and needing to enter the rental made us feel uncomfortable, and we ended up leaving while the repairs were being done.Additionally, the yard had not been mowed before our arrival, which made the property feel less maintained. The air vent was very noticeably dusty, dirty spots on walls, and there was dirt all underneath and in the couch even though the cleaner was there right before check-in. And were told check-out was at 10am when the listing stated 11am, though the host was gracious enough to extend the hour for us.We feel there are some maintenance and communication improvements needed to make future guests feel more comfortable and confident in their stay.

Pleasant stay on a quit street.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Elm St Retreat. It was close to the restaurants we dined at and close to the Indiana Dunes, which was the primary reason for our trip. The home suited our needs perfectly with amenities you won't find at a hotel.

The backyard was very relaxing. The house had everything needed to have a nice week stay. We enjoyed the walkable neighborhood and closeness restaurants. Being in town for a Celebration of life being able to walk to Greenwood cemetery was wonderful.
