About this property
Cozy loft inside a vintage store on an animal rescue farm in Westville, IN
Looking for a unique, quiet & peaceful getaway in the country? Our cozy loft is located upstairs inside our 5500 square foot vintage home decor store on our 80 acre animal rescue/sanctuary in Westville, Indiana. We are just 5 miles from Lake Michigan and less than an hour from Chicago. The loft sleeps two and includes a king size bed, sofa, tv, WiFi, bathroom and small fridge. The main floor has a kitchen with a stove, microwave & fridge. The only entrance to the space is through the store but the space is very secluded and private. You will also have access to our farm and pond we just ask that you do not feed or pet the animals without our supervision. We have horses, goats, 2 ungrateful geese, a pot belly pig named Thelma, a few cats and a dog. We also have an airstream on the property that is used as a rental and we rent our space for events (small weddings, showers, etc). Thank you for considering us for your next destination, we look forward to hosting you!

My parents and I live on our 80 acre animal rescue farm which is also home to our vintage home decor store,Blue Moon Vintage Market, where our loft is also located. We have almost 30 rescue animals here, mostly horses and use our overnight accommodations to help us financially care for our rescue animals. Our store also serves as an event space for micro weddings, showers and workshops. Our farm is just a quick train ride away from Chicago, 5 short miles from Lake Michigan, 20 minutes from the Indiana Dunes and 20 minutes from Southwest Michigan. I love being able to offer our space for guests looking to take a break from their busy lives and enjoy our quiet surroundings. We have met so many amazing people and have so much to offer in our area
Why they chose this property
My parents purchased our farm in 2006 and I moved in temporarily 10 years ago. We constructed our building on the farm for our vintage decor store in 2020 and now it has expanded to an event space for micro weddings, showers and workshops as well as our overnight stay accommodations. We also have a 1971 vintage airstream camper on site as well as our loft.
What makes this property unique
Our 80 acre farm is home to our vintage decor store/event space and is also home to almost 30 rescue animals, mostly horses. Our guests are welcome to enjoy the farm, the pond and our wedding garden that we constructed this year as well as the bonfire area. We offer complete seclusion on our farm with the ability to go into the surrounding towns for restaurants, shopping, wineries and more!
