We had a great time. The view was amazing. We loved having a pool, hot tub, and sauna at the home. We were in town for a wedding and it worked out amazing for us. We would 100% stay here again.

Fantastic property. Absolutely stunning inside and out. The hosts are exceptionally kind and communicative. The house is clean, organized, and just has good energy. Our kids loved the pool, and the view is just breathtaking. I'd highly recommend this property.

This house was as advertised! Very clean, very modern, and exceptional view. Our kids had a blast in the amazing pool as well as the jacuzzi. The communication with the homeowner was fantastic as well. We can't wait to go back!

A slice of paradise

Something about swimming in an infinity pool overlooking a golf course and looking on to mountains. Troy’s property is simply outstanding and super comfy. He was especially responsive and accommodating.

This house is beautiful, views are amazing! If you questioning no need this house is perfect for a getaway. The only down that I would have to mention is pictures on VRBO doesn’t do this house justice I would highly recommend this house I would definitely be back again

Beautiful

The house was beautiful and the view was stunning. We had small children with us so we did have to move furniture in front of the upstairs banister over looking the family room because the rods were really loose and held together by zip ties but the house was cozy and inviting. The host are very responsive and friendly. Thank you for a great bday trip with friends and family.

Beautiful Home for a Special Event

Incredible stay that will make any family gathering, friend reunion or vacation that much more memorable. Beautiful decor, amazing kitchen, and breath taking views. Management was kind and helped us solve a minor HVAC problem quickly, saving the day for some very important photos! I have told all my friends about this place and couldn't recommend it higher. Exceeded Expectations.

When I peaked out from our bedroom drapes in the early morning, a gorgeous sunrise colored the sky above a silhouetted mountain range. After our late night arrival, it was wonderful waking up to this stunning view. The spacious bedrooms, kitchen, living room and dining room all had spectacular panoramic views of the valley below and glorious rocky mountains that continued on into the distance. The lovely rental had a wonderful pool and hot tub. A perfectly beautiful setting for our holiday vacation away from crowds.

Vastly Exceeds Listing

The property Hilda and Troy have vastly exceeds everything stated on the VRBO listing. We had our early Thankgiving so we spent a lot of time cooking. The chef’s kitchen literally had everything you can imagine in excess, to complete the meals. We also took advantage of the outdoor BBQ as well, which was brand new. The house is incredible and waking up and going to sleep to the incredible views was breathtaking. Best VRBO we have ever stayed in! Out of a 10, it’s a 12+! Katia and George

Amazing views and amenities

Needed a quiet getaway with friends and Troy's place was wonderful. I will remember this house for many years. Beautiful layout of courtyard, backyard, almost 360 degree views, and just all the amenities for maximum comfort (movie room, music in all rooms, pool, jacuzzi, large sauna, pizza oven, etc.). A piano & guitar for the musically inclined and any kitchen amenities (used my first pizza oven!). Gorgeous views, well-placed mirrors/windows. We had all these plans in San Diego and canceled many just to relax poolside everyday with gorgeous sunsets. Thank you so much Troy!

Hillside

Hillside was a wonderfully relaxing home with plenty to do with our kids. Ages 7-12 they swam and explored all day and enjoyed the movie room at night. Kitchen is fully stocked- never needed anything and we ate 90% of our meals there. We all slept better than we normally do! The air in the home was well circulated. We never had to use the air conditioner or heater once. Great running/walking trails around the home. A peaceful backyard pond and fountain located toward the back of the home that we all loved! Owners were very responsive and helpful. We loved staying here.

A wonderful weekend away with the family!

Truly, such a stunning property… Everything about it was just so serene, we truly didn’t want to leave. We are already starting to plan a golf trip so we can have an excuse to come back. We stayed for our cousins wedding at the Mederas golf club. So close, we had two small babies - we zipped home after cocktail hour with a sitter and zipped back and didn’t miss a beat. We wouldn’t have any complaints if the listing had been a little more specific about bedrooms. It says 3 bedrooms but really it’s 2 and an office with a pull out bed that is truly uncomfortable. Great for a small child but my elderly parents had to sleep on that thing - and my dad ended up sleeping on the couch the second night due to discomfort (the couches are very comfortable) So, just be aware of that - that the upstairs bedrooms are really the only rooms with comfortable beds. The mini twin beds in both rooms are far more comfortable than the mattress on the pullout couch downstairs. The normal beds are super comfortable. The rooms aren’t completely dark but when you wake to a view like that - who could be upset? The house came equipped with blow up mattresses and bedding - all very organized and very clean. Truly, the house is immaculate. The view is breath taking - the pictures don’t do it justice. Hoping to be back just have to strategize where my parents would sleep.

The listing spells out exactly the description of all the sleeping rooms as well as each bed, bed size, whether it’s a pull out etc. We encourage each guest to read the Description as it spells out exactly what’s offered. When you asked about the rooms, we simply cut and pasted the Description.

Unfortunate Experience

I will start off by saying this home is lovely and we had a very nice weekend. However, the host failed to mention that there was a daily charge to heat the pool. Luckily, I asked the day before our arrival and agreed to pay the fee. However, when we arrived at the house the pool and spa were too cold to enjoy that day. This daily fee for the heater should have been disclosed upfront. Additionally, the owner’s daughter came to the property during our first night stay and left her car in the driveway for the remainder of the weekend. Lastly and most important, when we returned home we got hit with a $500.00 damages charge due to a couple of decorations left behind and a piece of tabletop decor which was shifted on the credenza in the dining room. My recommendation is the owner needs to remove his property from VRBO as it doesn’t seem like he is agreeable to having strangers stay in his home.

The listing clearly states NO PARTIES. You had an illegal party. You left party items all over the property. Naked sexy straws, balloons, napkins that say “PARTY”, etc we had to pick up for days after you left. You scratched a brand new table. You agreed to not move items. You moved furniture and decorations and caused damage for which we only kept part of the damage deposit, not even enough to cover your damage. We knew you knew you had an ILLEGAL PARTY when you waited for the last minute to write a review. You knew you damaged things and part of you damage deposit would be withheld. We never allow parties, you agreed to this but you had one anyway. The pool temperature was 84 degrees when you arrived. It’s very warm and doesn’t need extra heating unless you pay extra. Party people are not welcome at our house.

Decent Property, Unhinged Owner

Stayed for a weekend with a group of friends for 2 nights over the weekend. The property was mostly as described and matched the pictures posted. Only thing that we noticed was that it was a little tight to fit more than 6 people in the sleeping arrangements and the 7th person had to sleep on a pretty uncomfortable couch. All of the problems we had, were with the owner. Communication prior to arrival was minimal, and check-in instructions and information was barebones at best, only a singular short message. The real problems came after checkout where the owner started harassing us for 2 days straight, claiming that our group went around unplugging random electronics in the house. During which, he went on a tirade of results-based blaming when it could have been any number of reasons including a pre-existing condition. Specific examples include a TV which only turned on 50% of the time when we were there, and would only sometimes work after waiting for 10-15 minutes. The owner then blamed the condition on us and charged us 300$ for "unplugging cables." I would stay away from any property this owner is involved in unless you want to deal with constant badgering and harassment and ruin your post-stay days.
