About this property
Deadwood’s Old Front Porch as featured in Destination Deadwood Magazine
Deadwood’s Old Front Porch as featured in Destination Deadwood Magazine. The Old Front Porch was built in the late 1800’s and it has been renovated with some modern touches, while keeping the historic character of the home. Downtown Deadwood is just over half a mile, and you can access the Mickelson Trail with a three-minute walk. The Deadwood Trolley stops in front of the house and will take you almost anywhere in Deadwood for $2!
Located in Deadwood's historic district, this late 1800's property will have you imagining life in our small mining town. Even before statehood, locals frequented 119 Charles Street as part of the Cleveland District in the old days.
This charming home has a blend of the old history and modern conveniences to make your time in the Hills comfortable and relaxing. Enjoy a cup of coffee out on the front porch or in the privacy of the backyard patio before heading out for the day.
If spending the day in Deadwood, no need to fight traffic or look for parking. A trolley stop is located right out front, or a few minutes walk to dining, shopping or gaming. The George S. Mickelson Trail is just across the street for nature walks, cycling and jogging.
You'll find all stainless steel appliances, large capacity washer and dryer and a spacious main bathroom complete with a rain shower. The back yard has a large patio area for entertaining with a large picnic table and gas grill.
