Our stay was perfect. The property was clean and conveniently located in beautiful Deadwood. We had a great weekend visiting Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Monument.
Wonderful place to stay in Deadwood! Nice sized bedrooms, perfect location and great communication with the property manager. Would definitely stay again.
This was a great space to stay! Right in downtown, so expect traffic noises for sleeping. There is a newly redone park area across the street. There is a nice deck where we watched a storm roll in. We were confused about parking when we first got in, but there is info inside the house with visuals. The beds were comfy and the air conditioning was great to come back to after a hot day outside! I would definitely come back to Deadwood and stay here again!
The house was super cute and impecably clean. It is very close to downtown Deadwood and the trolley stops right across the street. House is also situated right next door to a cute little park. The owners are super cool folks and have the cutest 3 little dogs.
We spent the weekend in Deadwood for the Kool Deadwood Nights car show. We arrived at the property and were so very pleased it was just as described in the listing! Located close enough to downtown activities that we could easily walk or shuttle, but just outside of town so we could get away from the noise and relax on the large outdoor deck. We plan to stay here again! Owners are friendly and responsive!
Had a great time. Beds were very comfortable and house was cozy. Parking was a little tight. The cookware needs to be replaced. And maybe some sponges/cleaning equipment to clean up afterwards. Other than that it was a great stay. Everything was very clean.
With seven occupants one bathroom might be a little tight but we managed fine.

Deadwood Delight
We were genuinely delighted by the house, the mid-century flair, the cleanliness and the easy access to Downtown Deadwood. The local contact was immediately accessible with the questions we had and assistance we needed. She was easy to reach, ready to help in any way and was very flexible. The mattresses were more than we expected, every guest agreed they were comfortable and perfect for the rest we needed after very full days of activities in and around Deadwood. The TV and internet connections were very well explained and easy to use. The parking was the only small glitch, and even that was of little inconvenience, and the instructions for parking were very well laid out. We knew there were other "renters" in other parts of the large house, but we never heard nor saw them in all our comings and goings. There were plenty of supplies, though for a 5 day/4night stay with 4 people, we did have to replenish a few of the items we went through, but that was no problem at all. Overall, we would certainly stay again, with up to 2 to 3 additional guests as there was certainly room. (as always, with more people, another bathroom would be nice, but not a deal breaker).

Nice House (beware changes/updates after arrival)
4 Stars House / 2 Star POC: House was Nice & conveniently located for our needs. Clean, except for family of dust bunnies under the king bed. Security, they don't change the access code for the front door lock (printed in book). Some issues with parking. The listing says 2 parking spots & inside the house was a parking diagram which stated parking on the road was illegal & we'd be cited. The property home-made parking spots were not big enough for SUV's, so we parked on the public road in front of the house after clarifying restrictions with the Deadwood Police. The next day the POC tried to mandate no parking on the public road, again stating that we'd be cited. I cordially replied that I contacted the Deadwood Police Traffic Div to inquire & the Traffic Enforcement Officer (Pam), stated that since there's no signs posted restricting parking & it was not apart of the "Residential Permit Zone", it was legal to park. I asked the Prop POC for the Ordinance # they had been allegedly cited under in the past. I didn't get a reply, nor did I hear from them again during our stay. Finally, the listing said "complimentary toiletries". Upon arrival their book said it was a "starter set" & there's a Dollar General down the street (we had 2 rolls of TP for 6 people). Only Vrbo that's done this before & if we'd known, would of brought supplies with us. They need to update listing & not bother guests about public parking. The house & furniture was nice and we'd give'em another shot.

From the owner: "With the entire city of Deadwood listed on the National Historic Register and most homes dating back to the 1800s, parking throughout the area is extremely limited. We’re fortunate to have more on-site parking than most properties in town. That said, even with our added capacity, we are unable to accommodate multiple oversized pickup trucks with trailers and side-by-sides.We’re sorry to hear that the parking didn’t meet your needs, but we do want to let you know that there is ample free overflow parking available just a block away, behind the First Interstate Bank.We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoyed your stay in historic Deadwood."
We enjoyed a weekend in Deadwood for Kool Deadwood Nights. There was 4 of us adults that ended up staying but the place could've easily slept the 9 that our was capable of. Great location!! Walked down town from there and the trolley stop was right across the street. They had everything you could want there. We are already gonna book for next year!!! Thank you!!
