Ideal space and layout for a family, couple or two couples. My husband and I have already suggested going back with friends to enjoy the absolute serenity of this house. The windows face east, over the forest and mountains, so I got to watch the sunrise every morning as I drank my coffee. It was rainy during part of our stay and we enjoyed the excuse to hang out on the comfy couches reading or playing board games on the large dining table. This was absolutely the break we needed! The host was easy to reach and very responsive to questions (didn't really have many since there were no issues).

The hosts were wonderful communicators and extremely accommodating with our last-minute needs. We hosted a small rehearsal dinner there, and the bridal party stayed overnight so they could have hair and makeup done before the wedding. The venue, Stonyman Valley Ranch, was only a 4-minute drive away, which made everything so convenient and stress-free. Thank you for helping make the weekend so special!

What a wonderfully unique property this is! Never stayed in a circular house and it was a unique experience. The layout worked for 3 adults and 4 kids and the kitchen was amazingly spacious. The driveway up to the house was a bit challenging the first time, but I quickly learned to back up the driveway from the gravel road. There isn't much to do immediately surrounding the house, which is part of the reason we selected this property to stay in. For most needs, you'll be driving 15 minutes to Luray.The upstairs was very hot when we arrived, but once the air conditioner units were turned on, it quickly cooled down and was quite comfortable. The absence of a TV upstairs was a blessing and there were plenty of puzzles and games to spend quality time together. Loved the opportunity to show the kids what vinyl records are and how a record player works.Having Shenandoah National Park so close was a plus, in addition to Luray Caverns 20 minutes away. Horseback riding and shopping in Luray kept us busy over the weekend.

The Round House was exceptionally charming. There was plenty of space for my family (4 adults, 2 kids), and we loved being in the second floor open space to eat, play games, and hang out with the beautiful view of the mountains through the windows. I honestly wish that we had booked more time there because it was such a great vacation rental!

This cabin has three AC units and during extreme periods of heat we recommend guests use all three AC units as well as ceiling fans in each room Thanks for the toilet feedback. Holiday Adventure

The Round House is snuggly with a wonderful wood burning stove on the first level, a round staircase takes you up a level to a panoramic view of the mountains. Kitchen is well-equipped, rooms are comfortable and the deck is perfect for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Location is great for many different trail heads and the hikes were wonderful. We enjoyed our stay!

Super relaxing house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the round house. Close to the national park for hiking and also to the town of Luray (for food shopping and restaurants) as well as the caverns. On the day when it rained we relaxed in the living room with all the windows and was very comfy. Would stay there again!
