We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and exceptionally well-stocked with amenities, everything we needed and more. The location was perfect with easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. The home was well-maintained and made for a relaxing place to return to after a day of exploring. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again!
Great place for my family to stay in while in Estes Park. The listing was accurate except for the part that the house is a duplex. It wasn’t an issue, but would have been nice to know prior to reserving. Not quite close to downtown Estes, but we prefer that so it’s quieter. Enjoyed our time!
Leah was an amazing host, very communicative and accommodating. The place was clean and very comfortable. The surroundings were amazing! We had 2 cow elk in the back yard feeding when we arrived. Looked over and saw 4 mule deer bucks laying under the tree behind the backyard. We were close to town but far enough away to be very peaceful. Great property and perfect host! Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back!!
The house has been appointed really thoughtfully. It made it so easy to plug in without needing to do too much before we could start unwinding! The beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Leah was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!! Great view and easy location to get to and from (2 turns to get to the local Safeway!). Wish we could stay longer!!
We had a wonderful stay here! Property was super clean, we appreciated their attention to details. Furniture and beds were comfortable and were a pleasure to return to after a day of hiking. Leah, the property manager was an amazing communicator, offering information regarding RMNP and other helpful information throughout our booking to check-out. Great experience overall!
We enjoyed our stay in Estes Park. The property was in a quiet neighborhood only minutes from the main town and entrance to the park. Everything worked as described and the property was clean and in good condition. We wish we could have stayed longer.
This property was exactly what we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was good for hiking at both the longs peak area and the main park.

Hi! I'm Charity.
After years spent traveling around the world and being welcomed into so many people's homes, I'm immensely excited to be able to welcome you into mine. I grew up in Wisconsin before coming out to school at the University of Colorado in Boulder where I studied International Affairs. I spent my summers working here in Estes Park - roaming in the mountains by day and waiting tables by night.
After college I spent nearly a decade working abroad - first for 4 years in East Africa on various humanitarian and development initiatives, and then in Afghanistan for 6 years, initially on humanitarian projects and later as a conflict analyst. When the pandemic struck, I was far too tired to ride it out in a war zone and decided it was time to head home.
I landed in Estes Park for what I thought would be a few months to get my feet under me again and figure out what was next, but life had other plans. I found unexpected roots in the incredible community and wondrous nature here, which helped my tired soul so burdened by the pain of war and human suffering find peace and a sense of hope and joy once again. I bought this home as a place where I could continue to rejuvenate my spirit, and with the intention that I could create a home to share that same peace with others.
Why they chose this property
I bought this property to be a place where I could find the quiet of the mountains, a slower pace of living in a small town, and a community that is authentic and simply loves to get outside and play. I wanted to live a simpler life. This little home has everything I need: a kitchen to cook and bake, views of the mountains, an extra room for guests, and an opportunity to share it with others while I'm away.
What makes this property unique
I'm an amateur woodworker in the making and many of the pieces around the house I've created myself. After seeing so much of the world's challenges, I find great joy in simply making something beautiful. From the decor to the location to the amenities like a full kitchen, I hope this will feel just like your own home away from home.
