Great view! This house is at the very top of the property, bit of a white knuckle drive. Plan on making limited trips down the mountain. Boat rentals, hiking, all top notch. BC is a great getaway.
This was a good experience overall. The view is fantastic. A couple of minor things kept it from being 5 stars: The 1/2 bath is extremely dark, and one of the couches has damaged seat cushions (surface appears to be peeling). I would do it again.
We had a great stay. Beautiful views. It is quite a trek into the neighborhood to get here, so we pretty much stayed put for our short stay. If you are like us and don't feel like driving the mountain roads much try taking a walk up the road, pass through the emergency gate and take a left, there is a perfect hiking trail.
Space was much bigger than anticipated. Had a great weekend reuniting with friends. The view is spectacular. Had quick response from property manager when needed. Would definitely recommend.
The check-in process was great as was the check out. The rooms were as expected. The view fantastic! However we did find a few things in disrepair *see below" but it didn't soil the fun. We were able to see wildlife (a family of bears plus cubs) and deers right in the yard between our house the next one down the hill which the kids loved! As a former premier host on Airbnb I noticed a few things that prevented a perfect rating 1- One step coming up to the front door was loose and another had exposed nails2 -All doors to outside from the rooms don't open to porch/ sitting areas3- Some of the door handles were loose4- Cobwebs were plentiful5- Twin beds behind the barn door were dusty, it appears the area wasn't cleaned before out arrival 5- Straps attached to the hot tub was broken 6-A chair was broken at the kitchen bar7- One of the shelves in the refrigerator was cracked8- The decor was dated and the living room couch is peeling and should be replaced.Lastly, 9- Television in one of the rooms downstairs wasn't working properly. We overall loved the resort it's amenities, and may visit the area again.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was spotless, nicely decorated, and had every little detail we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing. The location was peaceful, the views were amazing! We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming place to stay.
The view was amazing, great communication from the property manager, definitely will come back here in the future! Perfect view of the sunset and sunrise from the porch and plenty of room. We had a great time here for my friend’s bachelorette party. Pristine golf course.
Top of the Mountain spectacular View . Cozy rooms, pool table, hot tub on deck - lots of places to hang out and play games. Nice living room and TV for family movie night. Host are terrific communicators. Lake fishing, Pickleball, boat rentals. Indoor pool and fitness center, hiking! Great Lodge and meals at the Golf Club!
Loved staying here! The views were outstanding. The wildlife was magical. Just perfect for our family. The hosts couldn’t be more helpful and communicative. Highly recommend and we would definitely go back!

We were looking for a private retreat and had a great long weekend here. The house was great and the kids had a blast with the toys, bunk room, hot tub and overall property. Great hikes, saw deer, wild turkeys and bald eagles and enjoyed some lovely days renting boats on the lake. All around a great, relaxing get away. The owners were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.

About the host
Hosted by Brad Kalinoski
I moved to Atlanta GA in 2021 from Vancouver Canada. As I made some new friends here at my home in Atlanta, I was offered to stay in one of my friends Big Canoe Airbnb for a few nights. I immediatley fell in love with the cabins, the big canoe amenities and quiet life of nature that surrounded me. And I knew that I had to live here, even if part time, and when not using my home in big canoe, I could share it with you.
Why they chose this property
When I first walked into this house, the vista and the all glass around the rooms was just breathtaking. And I knew I had to have it to enjoy and share with others. They old cliche is location location location. And to be honest, yes. Its true. This is a phenomnal home.
What makes this property unique
The view. Simply the view. Either setting in the hot tub to just relaxing in the lounge chair. The quiet. The relaxation that you feel with the gentle breezes that continuously blow. This can be romantic to family oriented. Its just near perfect.
