Garden Apartment is 1 of 7 fully renovated apartments within the Belmont Farmhouse located just 1 block off "downtown" Belmont. It offers 1 bed, 1bath, a living area, full kitchen and private deck off the backside of the building. It has an exterior entrance around the right side of the Farmhouse. Excellent location, on a quiet street, and within a minutes walk to some of the area's best restaurants (MAS, The Local, Tavola, Belle, Conmole) and about a 10 -15 minute walk to the highly sought after Downtown Mall (pedestrian). Garden Suite is primarily an "extended stay" rental with a typical minimum night stay of 30 days although may be occasionally offered for short term rentals. Please call to inquire about pricing for stays longer than 31 days.Inspired by a secret garden getaway, you'll find a relaxing space with loads of character, charm, and comfort.
We've blended industrial elements with traditional farmhouse style, and exposed original brick, plaster and wooden rafters while providing you with an updated, comfortable and inviting space.
The neighborhood, charm of the apartment, and proximity to all great things in Charlottesville will provide you with the local experience you want. It's also important to us that you're comfortable enough to feel like this could be your home. Some things we think that help achieve this are a variety of lighting options, different spaces you can relax, a bed that feels plush but doesn't swallow you, blankets to layer as you need, a kitchen with all the things where you'd expect them, and comfortable furnishings that can handle your everyday living.
A few feet away from the entrance is access to a laundry room that can be used upon request.

Very Artsy area

Very unique property amidst several other rental properties and lots of great gardening which I am sure is beautiful in the spring. Great design in this location with fabulous bathroom with heated floors and amazingly comfortable king size bed. Unit is extremely cold in the winter and the heat in the bedroom was great - however heating in the main area did not seem to be working. Thankfully I brought an additional blanket and there is a space heater located in a drawer in the bedroom which we ran during our stay. Walking to the downtown mall was 15 minutes and a tad sketchy. All driving was within 10 minutes or so to most locations within Charlottesville proper area. Sofa in living area was very comfortable and kitchen was great. We loved Bodo’s Bagels, Citizens’s Burger and numerous wineries around the area. Wegmans was great for to go food.

Cute unit in a nice neighborhood

The unit was very well maintained. It was in a great location to walk to the mall or to the center of Belmont which has a few cute cafes and restaurants.
