Host Created a Horrible Experience

I rented this property for one night as my friends and I needed a place to stay before we stayed at Pinehurst resort. After long travel and playing 18, we arrived at the house at 8pm. First, the keypad numbers provided to me by the host were incorrect. Then after half an hour of trying to get ahold of the name and number that was left on the contact sheet in case of questions was of an employee who hasn’t worked for the host in over a year. I then tried to contact the host and after an hour, she still didn’t reply. I had to call and wait for a VRBO helpline to FINALLY get ahold of her and join her into a 3 way call. When I told her of the situation, she never once apologized for us waiting in the driveway to for 2 hours, and instead tried to blame me for not attempting to contact her (which previously stated, I did but she just didn’t answer.) She never once took responsibility for what happened, and then hung up on me and never provided the key pad number. Our group had to scramble and find a hotel at 11pm. It looks like a nice place and is relatively close to Pinehurst resort, but just know that the host is extremely unresponsive and doesn’t care about their renters or their experience.

Home base for golf trip

2nd year in a row we've stayed here for a golf trip with 8 guys. It's in such a great location - quiet neighborhood and close to everything. The new deck and ping pong table are great additions. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Clean with plenty of room

We were caught off guard with how much room there was. The driveway was plenty big enough for 4 vehicles. Our group was also able to split up and play ping pong downstairs and pool upstairs. We couldn’t get logged into wifi at first but reached out to the owners and they got back with us immediately. There were 7 of us staying there which was the right number. You could definitely squeeze an 8th in there but it would be tight.

Reunion

This is a really fantastic property—lots of space, great layout, and beautiful neighborhood. We had a great time and our only qualm was that we could not get the projector in the game/movie room to work, but that was probably an issue on our end. Would recommend.
