This house was a great space for a family with ages ranging from 1-90. There was one bedroom (no tub or shower) on the main floor for those unable to use stairs.The outdoor space is also perfect for families. That is where we spent most of our time.

Just a wonderful home for three generations to relax, visit, and play. The kitchen was an inviting hangout from morning coffee to dinner and dessert. A 10-minute drive to a Royals game was a nice bonus.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay! Everything was as described in the listing. Pamela was so easy to communicate with and responded immediately to any question. Perfect for a family reunion….everyone had their own bathroom, great gathering spots throughout the house, commercial kitchen, and a garage full of entertainment. Highly recommend!!

Plenty of Rooms and Comfortable Beds!

Our large group, consisting of 14 adults, had plenty of space, activities, comfortable beds and were happy with the on-suite bathrooms. There were those who enjoyed playing the piano, shooting pool, and putting on the green. We took in many of the historical sites in and near Independence and had an enjoyable reunion.

We had a large group of 14, including ages from 2 to 78, and this was an excellent property to facilitate our mini family reunion. The property has plenty of things to keep kids and teenagers entertained. The kitchen is fantastic. The location is very convenient. I can’t say enough how helpful Pamela and her staff. We had an issue in one area with air-conditioning and they immediately took steps to correct the problem and make it work for the entirety of our stay. In my mind, the true measure of a host is how well prepared they are to deal with challenges that come up unexpectedly, and the host is a rockstar.

Perfect for our group

We had a large group who were in town for a wedding at Powell Gardens. The accommodations were perfect. It allowed us to have our own rooms and space and come together for meals and entertainment. This place is very well appointed. Loved the separate apartment. Everyone had fun playing ping pong, and the other games. Great place to stay!!!

Guys golf trip

Pam was awesome. The house was as advertised and worked great as our base for a guys gokf weekend. Would love to set up future trips around Pam's properties. She was extremely accommodating with questions and ensuring our weekend was a success

Our stay was a reunion of five couples who knew each other as undergrads. All 5 couples were married in 1968 and enjoyed our annual reunion … to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversaries this year.

This house

I will highly recommend this house. We had 16 people and everyone had room to spread out. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The kitchen is amazing, the garage is full of stuff to do and the yard was more than big enough.

Family time

This property was perfect for our large family. We had no plans and ended up at the house all weekend. There was plenty of time in the yard, garage and kitchen. We truly enjoyed our weekend and the host was great to work with.

Beautiful historic home

pe to come back again soon. The home is absolutely prostine. Plenty of room for everyone to be together or find some quiet time alone. Well stocked for large groups and plenty of activities for the young ones to keep them occupied. Definitely recommend this place for family reunions and the like. Pamela was very helpful and really on top of communication and was readily avaliable to answer questions. Five star stay!
