Welcome to Tyne Valley, PEI!

This cottage is located on the Bideford River that runs from the Atlantic ocean and feeds into beautiful Green Park.

A channel runs through the middle of the river, while the edges are shallow and host a very interesting seascape. Clam, Mussel, and Oyster shells along with periwinkles are very common to find. If you wait until the tide is low, walk to the right and you may be lucky enough to find some
Starfish!

This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bedroom cottage boasts breathtaking sunsets and almost a 1/2 acre of land for all your daily activities.

We offer:

Every single thing you need kitchen-wise (including Tupperware for leftovers!) and property-wise for kids and grownups alike. Lots of room to run and play but also to sit and relax both inside and out. Our best stay on PEI yet!

The property was beautiful, the house was clean and perfect for our three-generation family. The host was very responsive. We visited Harmony beach (as recommended by the host) and it was WONDERFUL for our young kids - like a giant wading pool with so many creatures to discover. The evening sunsets were spectacular and overall had a wonderful time at Northern Desire. Would definitely recommend!!

This cottage is absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. Everything you might need is there. All you need to bring is yourself, your clothes, and food. Great stay, will definitely stay here again if we do this in the future!

Great Choice!

This cottage was perfectly suited for our extended family needs in and around Tyne Valley. Had two small issues that the owner was very quick to address. Would definitely rent again if back in the area. Bonus: we experienced a gorgeous sunset!

We had such a lovely 3-day stay. The cottage is cozy and super clean, with a beautiful view of the water. In the morning, we sipped coffee and enjoyed the view from the deck, and then we did some incredible stargazing at night.The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need: games, books, spare blankets, spices, crayons—whatever you need, it's there. The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of room to hang out as a group or relax in a cozy rocking chair with a book and a cup of tea.Would highly recommend. The owners were lovely, and checking in was super simple.We'll be back for sure!

Great spot for families

Great cottage. Well stocked and has books/ toys for kids. If they don’t have it, you probably don’t need It. Great spot close to Tyne Valley and Richmond for ice cream, groceries, and a few restaurants. Easy access to the water for launching kayaks and watching sunsets.

This cottage was purchased as a place to stay when we visited PEI while we worked in Alberta. We fell in love with the space, the access to the water and the peace and serenity it provides!

We are happy to share our special getaway with you and truly hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

We can't think of a better spot that offers the breathtaking sunsets like this cottage does. There is nothing better than the firepit crackling and hearing the sounds of nature around you as you look off to the sunset glistening off the shore.
