Nestled in a quiet, charming neighborhood located in thriving midtown Sacramento, our fully detached guesthouse in Boulevard Park offers the best of everything. We are an easy walk to the Capitol, minutes from your choice of 5-star restaurants, and local coffee roasters. Golden One Center, the waterfront, and Old Sacramento are a quick ride share or Jump Bike ride. Renovated in April 2019, our well-equipped guest house backs to quiet green space and offers a private patio with gas fire table.

The space is equipped with everything you need for a weekend, a week, or a longer stay. Newly renovated with a "back to the studs" remodel completed in April 2019, the guesthouse has central heat and air, in-suite washer and dryer, quartz counter tops, white kitchen with dishwasher, garbage disposal, and stainless steel appliances. The modern bathroom with a spacious walk in shower boasts a luxurious rain shower head and lighted mirror over the vanity.

The bedroom has a queen bed and black out shades behind the light filtering shades to allow you sleep in, if that's your jam. High end linens and a curated design will make you feel as if you've booked a swanky resort room!

The living area has comfortable modern furniture and a flat screen TV. We provide a Roku with Netflix and DIRECTV NOW, which means you can watch what you want, when you want. The upgraded sound system with sound bar means a movie in is almost as good as a movie out.

Hungry? You're in luck! While the guesthouse is all provisioned for cook at home meals, we are located just blocks away from Midtown Sacramento's thriving farm to fork restaurant and bar scene. This stay could not have been more perfect! very cute, quiet and clean property that was very walkable to midtown and downtown. I have to travel through Sac a couple times a year and going to ensure I book this property every time moving forward!

The cottage was stylish, immaculate and loaded with everything from power cords to kitchenware. The hosts were very communicative and volunteered lots of advice on how to enjoy Sacramento. The cottage is very private and located in the heart of a lovely residential area, filled with tree-lined streets and handsome old homes. Many restaurants, parks and historical sites are within easy walking distance.

The perfect midtown stay

Beautiful space with everything you need. The parking pass is a huge plus so parking was not a problem at all. Check in/out directions are easy to follow and property directions and descriptions were spot on. The hosts are excellent communicators and were able to assist with all of my questions. This is the best experience I have had on VRBO! Thank you so much Jenna and Jon!

The neighborhood is quiet and safe to walk around. The guest house was clean and had everything I needed. The directions from the hosts is spot on and made checking in so easy. Definitely placed on my favorites for Midtown Sac.

Location location location!!

As the title clearly states the location is amazing. Everything is within walking distance from the best coffee to incredible pizza! Jon and Jenna are also quick to respond to any question you could have! Absolutely a 10/10 we will be back again. The cutest guest house where you really feel at home!

A hidden gem!

We stayed five nights, and we can’t wait to come back. This little cottage is perfect for a long stay (or short)—comfortable, well furnished, immaculate and very quiet. And we could walk to just about everything. The gorgeous autumn color on the neighborhood trees was icing on the cake. Thank you!

Fantastic Cottage in a Fantastic Neighborhood

Both the cottage and the hosts, Jon and Jenna, were fantastic. The cottage is very private and really well appointed, and backs up to a little private park, as advertised. There is a very comfortable mattress, spacious shower and all of the kitchen accoutrements you might need (as well as a nice TV and sound bar). Prior to our visit, Jon and Jenna provided detailed information and instructions about the property, and were really responsive when we managed to lock ourselves out. Great restaurants, coffee shops and Saturday midtown Farmer's Market are all within an easy stroll. Would definitely stay here again, and give it two thumbs up to anyone considering this property!

I’ve stayed at the guest cottage multiple times over the past couple years, as I drive from Oregon to CA and back. I’ve always had a perfect experience. The cottage is clean, quiet, and in the perfect neighborhood- accessible to numerous points of interest. Jenna is a super responsive and accommodating host. I’ll be back next year!

Look no further!

I wasn’t sure what to expect visiting Sacramento but staying at this lovely cottage made us feel extremely safe. We parked our car out front and never used it the entire weekend. Everything (coffee, shops, breakfast spots, trendy restaurants, dinner, houses, thrift stores, and even the weekend Farmer’s Market) were in walking distance.The cottage is located amongst wide shaded streets and craftsman houses, and a bonus is that it backed up against a quiet open space where we could hear nothing but chirping birdsin the morning.The hosts were very communicative and pleasant. Overall, this was one of the best rental experiences I’ve ever has and I would highly recommend staying here!.

Midtown Cottage

Loved my stay: clean, safe, nice decor and garden, good communication, walking distance to many things. L.R. and bedroom windows overlook someone's driveway and their cars coming in and out, but the neighbors were quiet so really didn't disturb me. Overall the ambiance was great!
