I came out to focus and work on my book. The place was great for that! The upstairs neighbors were a little noisy, but I got used to that quickly. Parking wasn’t the most convenient, but wasn’t the worst. The room was very clean and a lot of hard work, thought and love went into it and it shows! I would absolutely come back and recommend a friend!
The vrbo is in such a beautiful neighborhood. As far as the space, it was just what my husband and I needed. My only complaint is that communication with the host lacked any sort of warmth or hospitality.
Was visiting a friend and needed something better than a hotel room. This fit the bill wonderfully. One suggestion is blinds on the two windows in the TV room. It felt a little exposed.
We had a great time and our host was great! The property was clean and as advertised. The only thing might would change is the mattress but overall had no affect on the quality of our stay.
I was attending a convention at the expo and needed someplace to stay. The host was prompt to respond to any questions I had. It was clean. You can hear the people above you unfortunately it is just the design of the space. Thankfully they were also attending the convention so our schedules were fairly similar.
I understand the need to keep the matress protected but the matress cover was very loud and hot since it apparently had a plastic/ vinyl layer. I would suggest looking for an alternative.
This cottage is perfect for two—comfortable, clean, and sophisticated. It’s located in a very cool neighborhood where you can walk to get coffee, wine, and groceries. A quick drive takes you to the park and creek. We stayed five nights for a local event affected by Hurricane Helene, but hanging out at the cottage made it easy. We drove into town, brought bikes, and cycling around the area was a lot of fun. We were grateful to have such lovely accommodations during our stay.
Was great to travel to Louisville for my brother’s 70th birthday and stay in a lovely home right in the neighborhood where we grew up. The unit is lovely and hosts are onsite and very responsive, and it’s walking distance to restaurants and shops. We’ll be back!
Overall, great stay. Positives: super clean, recently updated, nice appliances, nice neighborhood. Considerations: in a carriage house. Host super nice and very rarely saw but it was a little weird staying in their backyard. Also, it had a new small AC unit in the main area near the couch, but with no central air system, the bedroom remained very warm(we stayed in August). It was hot enough that my husband chose to sleep on the couch in the AC vs the bedroom.
We were staying in Louisville to help our son and family prepare their house. The apartment, while it had minimal supplies, was just what we were looking for. We look for clean and basic accommodations. This suited us well.
We enjoyed our very short stay. Unit is very clean, adorably decorated and just as described. Lovely neighborhood and tons of fun things to do very close by.
Great location! Easy access to downtown, never had any issues parking. From the location you can walk to several restaurants/bars. Stacy was very easy to communicate with. Her place is just as described, very clean and comfortable, has everything you need! Would highly recommend and stay here again.

I am originally from the great state of Texas that is my home. Moved to Louisville 17 years ago for my husband. Together we have five adult children and 3 grandchildren. Our home and airbnbs are in a wonderful neighborhood where you can walk your dog’s, go running biking and hiking which we do ourselves.
What makes this property unique
what makes us unique??? I think you have the best of both worlds. Privacy your own private unit but safety and security that we are on the property as well. Safe wonderful neighborhood but we are here. I think this gives guests a peace of mind especially when not familiar to the area. We are also centrally located. You are never more than 15 mins away from everything Louisville
