This is 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living area with a queen size sleeper sofa. The bedroom has a huge "California" king size bed. This condo is stocked with linens, towels (including pool towels), soap, shampoo, conditioner and all kitchen appliances and supplies (see amenity list for details). "Unbeatable Ocean View Condo" is located on the 3rd floor (top) and there are elevators for your convenience. The condo is a corner unit making it a quiet location with 245 degree views, a side window for refreshing breezes as well as a split system AC in the living room, and a queen size sleeper sofa to accommodate up to 4 guests. "Unbeatable Ocean View Condo" will be your perfect home away from home, in Paradise!

This condo is located at the Pono Kai Resort in the historic town of Kapaa, Kauai. Kapaa has a small town feel and the resort is within walking distance of restaurants, boutiques, shopping and grocery stores. And if you’re there on the first Saturday of the month, Kapaa features live music, local crafts and food. You can rent bicycles right next door to the Pono Kai and located within 5 minutes from all water activities; canoeing, kayaking, surfing, etc...

The Pono Kai Resort has many amenities and activites on site including a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis, basketball, exercise room, shuffle board, horse shoes, mini golf, croquet court, board games, just to name a few.
There are also BBQ's located throughout the resort and laundry facilities located within each building.

Great location

Been to Kauai half a dozen times and stayed mostly in the Poipu area. This condo in Kapaa is in a great location and has everything you need for your stay, especially the view.

Wonderful spot

The views from this condo are picture perfect. Wonderful corner unit overlooking the ocean, the Kapa’a beach trail and palm trees. The condo is perfectly equipped, including extras like beach chairs. The Pono Kai Resort is well-maintained, friendly staff and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The sunrise view from the deck was a great way to start the day.

Perfect Kapa’a Getaway

This upstairs condo is a wonderful corner unit overlooking the ocean. The laid back location is within an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, bike rentals and multi-use path. Portable fans provide extra cooling if needed. The club house offers beach and pool towels and other services. We hope to stay here again.

Right next to the ocean!

If you like the ocean this condo is the place to be! We liked that the condo was an end unit on the third floor, so no disturbances from neighbors. The Pono Kai Resort is very clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the free coffee in the reception area, the putting greens, the gym, and the pool area. Being so close to downtown Kapa’a was fun and very convenient. We rented bikes and rode the entire length of the bike path, which was in good shape. The only reason that we didn’t give 5 stars was because some parts of the condo were not very clean and felt a bit run down. The bathroom cabinet is cracked, and the paintwork around the front door handle looks like it has not been cleaned in ages. The floor behind the bed is very dusty. The whole condo needs a deep clean.

Can I beat the Ocean view from Kapaa

The ocean front view is outstanding. The property has all the technology and entertainment that one needs. My only recommendation is that it was not thoroughly clean when I arrived. Overall, it looked good but once I looked into the corners and the floor, I could see that they were not touched. I also had to call maintenance to fix the screen door because it was almost impossible to move. That should’ve been checked before I arrived other than that it was an outstanding stay at a very good property.
