The cabin was clean and cozy! Kitchen was fabulous! All beds were very comfortable. Outside propane grill was very convenient. Loved the screened in porch as well as the sun deck. Our host was very helpful and caring.

Beautiful cabin. Great communication with the host. I was told there was a trail that led down to the lake, but there wasn't. Kitchen was well equipped except for the lack of a pizza cutter. Cool neighborhood cat visited daily.

Yes park was close enough. We enjoyed the beautiful country ride, seeing the farms and churches around every bend. Kitchen was good . Maybe some newer pans, old tephlon could be replaced. And a tea kettle would be great as for suggestions

The house accommodated our needs, but it was no frills. All of the disposable items, including toilet paper and paper towels, were the cheapest ones you can buy which, frankly, necessitated using more to meet our needs. Only 4 rolls of toilet paper were provided for 6 people. The provided 1 dishtowel, 2 dish cloths, 6 washcloths, and 6 towels. Thank goodness I brought some dish soap.We ended up buying toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap, and dishtowels for the 3-day stay. The silverware included a place-setting for 4 of the cheapest quality. Then there was another set that included tiny forks, knives, and spoons as might be used for children.This house is billed as "Lake view". The trees completely mask the view of the lake. Further, the host failed to notify us of a landslide a few days before our stay that blocked access to the lake. We chose this site for access to the lake.The grill was in good working order, but did require cleaning before we used it. The area was very quiet and peaceful, which was so wonderful. Overall, we made it all work for our family vacation before our daughter and son-in-law move to France. If you are choosing this property, bring your own disposable items.

We send all guest a detailed message stating we furnish toilet paper for each bathroom with an extra roll. The listing even states there is only one roll of toilet paper provided per bathroom. We always leave an extra. Obviously you did not read the message that was sent to you in the VRBO messenger weeks before you arrived. Regarding the toilet paper quality, everyone is different we cannot please everyone with their favorite toilet paper brand. There is no where on the listing that states you can access the lake. The docks are private and for homeowners only. The listing even states there are marinas, boat ramps, etc close by for use. The listing also shows drone photos of the cabin in winter and fall. Which SHOWS the tree line in the summer between the lake and cabin. The cabin has a beautiful view, fall, winter and spring. Also the checkout rules are provided in the cabin and in a message prior to your arrival that provides check in and check out times. You all did not leave until 10:40am which kept house keeping waiting for 40 mins in the parking lot. We had guest arriving the same day which pushed the cleaning crew to get it ready in time. Future guest can read the hundreds of 5 star reviews on this rental site and others to get a true value of the cabin. In the future I would suggest reading thoroughly the listing details for the property you choose. Thank you for staying with us😁

Wonderful Cabin

We stayed in this cabin while we were exploring Mammoth Cave and the surrounding hiking trails. It was a perfect location and had everything we needed. It was very clean and very cozy but spacious. Would definitely stay here again!
