Our stay at Golden Beach was absolutely wonderful. The view is just gorgeous and the house is beautiful as well. A well-appointed kitchen and plenty of cozy seating was great for our group of six. The cabana was so convenient too. Jim was so gracious to check in with us at booking and after we arrived to make sure that we had everything we needed, including restaurant recommendations. From bikes, to fishing gear, chairs, shelling nets, and even a wagon to get everything to the beach, he’s truly thought of everything.

Very nice property and some of the best beach shells we have seen on the island right outside. Pros:-two king bed rooms with beach views-great beach-clean-good location -great host provided amenities such as bikes and beach equipment -amazing view-fridge had filtered water (not common in Vrbo rentals)- lots of tvs (if that is your thing)-great pool that is partially shaded all day- very responsive host and service company Cons:-one of the king beds had a very high bed height (36in)- laundry is in garage on first floor so you have to go outside to do laundry- property decorated with breakable things like glass vases

When I bought my gulf front townhouse 35 years ago, I wanted to maximize the size of the bedrooms and bathrooms to make them as spacious as possible. In order to accomplish this, I moved the washer and dryer to the first floor. Most guests probably do any laundry once or twice during the week, but they use the bedrooms and bathrooms many times during the day. In my 174 reviews, this is the first guest that mentioned this. Chris has already rebooked for next year, August, 2027. Jim

Super clean and beautifully updated. The house had everything we needed for the beach. The pool area was awesome and perfect for relaxing after the beach. The whole place felt comfortable, well cared for, and easy to enjoy. Would definitely stay again!

This spacious, gulf front property was our home away from home for our beautiful week on Sanibel Island. The location and views were spectacular!!! Our host couldn’t have been any kinder or more helpful. We were so appreciative of the plentiful supply of beach chairs, umbrellas, pool floats & bicycles. The 1st floor refrigerator was a major plus for cold drinks & snacks!

We have a wonderful vacation. This is our 12th year coming to Sanibel and this was one of the better vacation homes / experiences we had. The location, right on the beach is perfect. The views are to die for! The host, Jim, is an amazing person and super helpful. We had everything we needed to make a perfect, restful vacation. We’d recommend Jim and this property to anyone looking for a perfect vacation.

Quiet location on the gulf

Jim's place was everything I wanted and more. Quiet, small community of 4 townhouses, right on the gulf,, pool, and garage. Close to many stores and restaurants. Beautifully decorated.

Wonderful vacation

We had a relaxing and wonderful week at Golden 4! The view is spectacular and the condo is very comfortable. We enjoyed the luxury of having bikes and beach chairs for the week as well. We will definitely be returning to Jim’s place in the future!

Week in Sanibel

We had a wonderful trip at Jim's property. He provided everything we needed for the beach, the location was great, and his communication with us was wonderful going into the trip. He was extremely knowledgeable in answering all of our questions which eliminated a lot of searching. We knew exactly what to expect and we had a wonderful time in Sanibel.
