This is the life! A cold drink, a sea breeze and a fabulous, near 180 Gulf view. Our beachfront vacation rental is just steps from the beach (fill your bucket with shells!). Bike on easy bike paths to Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge or to attractions of Captiva Island.

Loggerhead Cay is a deluxe condominium resort located right on the Gulf of Mexico. It's the first to recover from Hurricane Ian and added new amenities for pickle ball, tennis and shuffle board. Our large lap pool is a popular place to swim or lounge.
Our family comes here to gather from across the country. Our vacation home is perfect for families of up to 6, a couple or couples traveling together (2 large beds).

With a queen sleeper sofa in the Great Room, we comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. Bathrooms are sparkling clean with a walk-in showers.
Our 2nd floor location provides unobstructed views of the beach and Gulf. Convenient to the courtyard & heated swimming pool. Listen to the relaxing sounds of the Gulf of Mexico, lightly breaking waves, shore birds, and gentle breezes.

We have a large extended family and enjoy getting together in our family-owned Sanibel properties and condos at Loggerhead Cay.
Why they chose this property
You can't get any closer to the beach or any better view. Sanibel has a rare, kick-back charm and precious natural environment. No high-rises, no traffic lights. Just sun & sea and wonderful adventure year-round. :-)
We have enhanced commercial cleaning for towels, bed linens AND blankets for each guest. Also for Bath towels and face cloths as part of our linen program. We also have sealed mattresses to promote safety.
For air cleaning, our condo’s air conditioning/heating system is now equipped with dual UV ultraviolet lights that kill virtually all viruses and other germs instantly. We also provide a free-standing air cleaner, also with UV light sterilization, for your use in the bedroom or main room for additional peace of mind. Close the doors and windows and leave the system on “circulate” to continually clean the ambient air. Or turn off the AC and open the windows to get Sanibel’s healthy fresh air circulating.
For cleaning surfaces, our professional cleaners follow the enhanced sterilization and cleaning standards established by authorities, including CDC guidelines. We allow the mandated adequate time between guests for our professional cleaning staff to sterilize surfaces and high-touch areas, using CDC-compliant cleaners, as part of detailed cleaning protocols. An inspector checks and duplicates the sterilization as appropriate, before clearing our condo for incoming guests.
Only guests from US States which the CDC specifies have non-urgent levels of Covid infection are allowed initially.
Guests must verify they are eligible under the CDC standards and certify that, within 14 days of arrival, they have not/will not (a) travel internationally, (b) fail to follow social distancing standards or (c) have CDC specified symptoms.
Per CDC guidance in May 2020, wearing of face masks by patrons at this time is encouraged on Condominium property when social distancing is impractical.

What makes this property unique
Thanksgiving has become a Sanibel family tradition, and Christmas on the island is so magical.
We love to bike all over - even up to Capitva for lunch at the Bubble Room. Dinner at the Mucky Duck is always a treat. Kayaking around the Bay is so beautiful and peaceful. And the beach is unforgetable.
The kitchen is fully-equipped for Thanksgiving dinner, and it's great to have the laundry so handy. The WIFI and phones make it easy to keep up with the world. We love it here and hate to leave. :-(
