Your Kauai condo is located at the top of the hill above Poipu in the crater of an extinct volcano with abundant tropical garden views. Centrally located in Poipu, you have a short walk to Shipwreck’s Beach, Poipu Kai Resort, the Grand Hyatt Resort & Spa as well as Brennecke’s and Poipu Beach & Park.

PARRISH PROFESSIONAL CLEAN – Built Upon the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) “Safe Home” cleaning program, we further expanded our existing high standard of housekeeping at our properties where hospital-grade cleaning products and protocols were already in use. Our goal by layering on the recommended new steps is to provide our guests assurance and peace of mind that when they stay at any Parrish Kauai property that every effort was made to ensure a high level of cleanliness, sanitation and disinfection.

We had a great time in Kauai. This was a great location and home base for all of our family's island adventures. It had all of the comforts of home. We enjoyed our daily coffee and breakfast on the lanai.

Quite and peaceful vacation spot!

The property is in a crater, so sounds from the busy Poipu area are not heard. The porch is elevated and surrounded by lots of trees. Combined, it makes for a very peaceful vacation, with walking access to beach areas. The condo is well stocked with lots of beach gear, and the AC works great! Highly recommended for families.

Great location

This property is as advertised. Great location and very quiet. The patio is an awesome place to enjoy your meals and take in the jungle like view. They had all the beach gear which was such a nice bonus. Very clean and having ac is a must. The only thing I would recommend is to buy a set of good non stick pans. Other than that we look forward to returning next year!

Nice property, great location! We enjoyed walking to Poipu Beach each night to see the turtles. Good size for a couple or small family. Having AC throughout the house was such a plus on sticky days! Parrish staff was great - very responsive and easy to work with.

Paradise in the crater

Property was perfect for our stay. It is close to everything but feels like a secluded tropical paradise with fruit trees and lush greenery surrounding the unit. The home has fully stocked kitchen with everything, plenty of silverware so you only need dishwasher once a week. Beautiful place settings and a nice coffee pot. Beach chairs provided, coolers, boogey boards, etc. A cold bottle of wine awaited our arrival with two chilled glasses and cork screw in refrigerator. Nice touch. Very pleased with stay.

Convenient to beach

We were 3 adults family members staying in February 2024. We enjoyed the privacy provided by the vegetation surrounding the lanai (for breakfast) and also the easy access to Poipu Beach Park and to other nearby beaches. It was convenient that the condo had beach chairs and also reusable shopping bags we could take to the grocery store. We didn't cook dinner in the unit, so didn't test all the appliances, but the 'fridge and coffee maker worked fine. The unit was clean and the communication with the property manager was very good. We would definitely return.

So many birds . . .

This place felt like staying in a jungle despite the fact that it is just a short walk to sprawling rental complexes. Having AC was a great option but I also loved sleeping with the screen windows open, falling asleep to sound of frogs and waking to the sound of birds. As a border, I was thrilled to be able watch so many sweet tree bird from the back deck. Community pool is very private, I often had it to myself. We’ll kept. Perfect location. I’d go back!

Insect Infestation

The property is in a great location and has a pleasant interior. Although, the unit was infested with various insects every single time we returned home. We would routinely kill 15-25 bugs a day which was quite a nightmare in the evening. I have stayed in many locations in the Hawaiian Islands and have never experienced something like this. My advice to management would be to get an exterminator ASAP.m as the number of large insects was completely unacceptable.

Lush location out of the main Poipu area with lots of privacy and space

First the positives. Very lush green area in a crater outside of the main drag of Poipu. What this means is it is quiet. However what it also means is you have to treck to the beach to see the sunset or sunrise. Not terrible. You just should know are literally in a crater. You are also in an area where the owners don’t seem to like the renters. Some annoyances is that they advertise a hottub but there isn’t one and at least our unit could not goto the Poipu club. When I asked about both these things. I was just ignored which I found somewhat strange. The unit itself had a nice covered balcony and they had a nice living room. A lot of cob webs around the unit and the windows were really dirty. Tried to use the tennis court but it was so old and buckled we had trouble with it. So to say. For the price the unit has a lot of room and a great patio. But the units features and grounds are dated sometimes in a charming way and sometimes just too old. Features like outside lighting are so low you can see your food. But again. I think overall we were content with the quiet and the greenery. With some cleaning, outdoor lights on the deck, tennis renewal and correction on the hottub issue it would really be worth it. It would be nice if someone answered my questions though.

Great location

As we came late at night, it was very dark and we had a difficult time finding the house. Once we entered, the house was clean and exactly like the pictures you see on the listing. There was coffee powder , sugar and salt . That’s about it! So be prepared to buy your groceries on your way. Utensils had a little bit of a fishy taste, so you might have to rinse before use. The location is great , very close to an awesome fruit stand, walkable to the beach , close to Spout horn and some shopping . Overall it was a great and comfortable stay.

This property was perfectly lovely. We were close to everything we needed, including a charging station for our rental EV about a mile away in two directions. The beach is less than a mile away. The beds were comfortable. The AC was excellent when needed. The neighborhood is beautiful, clean, safe. The pool was beautiful and clean - we were the only ones using it most of the time! I have zero regrets choosing this property. They have pretty much anything you need in the kitchen and even some beach stuff to use. Highly recommend!

Garden home in paradise

We loved our stay at Poipu Crater! The home is comfortable and spacious, has all of the amenities you could ask for, and is in a great location. We walked and sometimes drove to the beach for boogie boarding, snorkeling and surfing. We napped at the home to the sound of birds & tropical winds blowing through the dense foliage surrounding the home. Definitely recommend this rental & definitely hope to come back!

Nice, open condo that seems bigger than it is. Condo well furnished and supplied. The complex is ideally situated in Poipu - walkable to 3 beaches. There is also a nice walking trail near the complex. Would stay here again.

We are so happy we were able to stay at this wonderful place. The beds were so comfortable. The location was private yet conveniently located. The home was clean and included a washer and dryer.
