Ample Parking!! Bedroom #1 “Master Bedroom” has large King bed with a Large walk in Shower & a Large Flat Screen Smart TV for streaming all your favorite movies/shows. Bedroom #2 has a Queen Bed with a large Flat Screen Smart TV. Bedroom #3 has 2 full beds with a Large Flat Screen Smart TV. Kitchen is well stocked with Keurig coffee maker, Blender, Toaster, Waffle maker Hot Tea pot, all pots/pans and utensils needed to cook up your fresh catch from a relaxing day on the beach fishing, swimming, or just enjoying the amazing sunsets…The Island has 4 bar stools along with a dining room table for eating and playing board games/cards. The Living Room has a Super Large sectional that is extremely hard to leave as it is so comfortable, also enjoy the Large Flat Screen Smart TV to watch all your favorite family movies together while eating popcorn or your favorite snacks! Extra blankets are available if you decide to make this spot permanent while you are on vacation!! Both Front and back porch offer Gulf Views!!!!!!When you get ready to go the Swim Spa make sure you plan to hang out under the porch on the lounge sectional sofa or egg chair reading a book, taking a nap , or just watching others enjoy relaxing in the spa……We want you to feel at home!!! The house is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located by the beach. The beach is gorgeous and not crowded. We were very pleased with the set up and decor of the house and felt very at home during our stay. I’d highly recommend this location for a peaceful beach escape. Check in and out was simple. Marc was a great host.

This house was decorated so cute! Loved the outdoor spaces and adorable chairs. Added bathroom toiletries were a plus. Easy walk to the beach. Nice beds as well! Nothing worse than a terrible mattress.

"Our Happy Place" is just that!

We are in love with Port St. Joe and this beautiful home! Convenient to the beach(literally across the street!) and to local restaurants and the downtown area. The home is updated and beautiful and the swim spa!!!! Owners are great to work with and had excellent recommendations!

Steps from the beach

The hot tub was a huge bonus. Groups of us had a great time. Steps from the pretty part of the beach. Very clean. Cute town very close by. Would definitely stay again!

This beach house rental was an absolute perfect place for our anniversary trip. The house was situated right across from the beach offering very convenient beach access, the hosts offered beach chairs and an umbrella which could be easily carried the short distance to the beach. The view of the ocean from the deck made morning coffee and sun sets extra special! Every detail of this rental was stunning. The cleanliness was impeccable, the beds and furniture were very comfortable, and the decor was absolutely beautiful. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. This beach house rental exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable vacation.

Home away from home

Great fall break! Our experience from booking to check out was simple. The house was so close to the beach and had everything we needed. It is decorated with a cute beach vibe and even has a hot tub with lots of outdoor seating. The owner was available anytime I had a question and very helpful. We would most definitely rent this place again!

Great Place, Evolving Beach

We loved "Our Happy Place." No complaints. Marc was quick to reply whenever contacted. No issues with the property. Two quick items of note: 1. The view is evolving daily as the area continues to rebuild from Hurricane Michael in 2018. A new house (frame) literally went up the week we were there in one of the two vacant lots viewed off the back balcony towards the water. Nonetheless, there is still a gulf view off the back, just not as open as before. Construction continues EVERYWHERE in the Mexico/St Joe beach areas. 2. While very well appointed in the kitchen (everything you need to cook/bake--within reason--and a VERY NICE blender and Keurig with some starter K-cups, tea and sweetener packets) you might want to bring an extra kitchen towel or two. 3. Wasps nest forming out the master bedroom door. Owner was notified and I am sure will take care of it. If you are staying at the property, check for the wasps nest before opening that door or sitting on that balcony. The a/c and hot water worked well. The hot tub worked just fine. All appliances were new and functioning. The TVs, as mentioned, are all smart so you'll have to "bring your own subscription" with you if you plan on watching TV. Host provided plenty of "starter items" like hotel sized bars of soap in each bathroom, paper towels, plus there was salt and pepper, some ketchup packets, etc. in the kitchen. Access to the beach is out the driveway and to the left by about 100'. We had no issues with anyone on the beach. The main road can be a bit busy, so cross with caution (especially if you have young children) as cars drive about 45-50mph at times down the road. The beach is beautiful, clean, friendly, quiet and not overpopulated. At the time of our visit, St. Joe Beach really only has one place to eat and two places to drink, within walking distance of the property. The Dollar General is also within walking distance if you need basic groceries or toiletries. Consider Port St Joe or Panama City if you want to dine out--and drive to the Piggly Wiggly or Dollar General "Market" in Port St Joe if you want to buy groceries. We brought our own bikes and beach chairs. Biking along the roads of St. Joe Beach and Mexico Beach is safe. Drive out to Cape San Blas or St. George's Island for even better biking! Overall, really enjoyed the property! As described, well maintained, safe, lots of amenities, great location...we did not want to leave when the trip was over! Thank you Marc!

Nice for a family stay

The property looked just like the pictures and had all amenities described. Roomy and comfortable. Was not able to use the swim spa because of a water level issue which was a bummer.

Great place to stay. Extremely clean in a great community. Recommend going to Hunts for dinner, it was by far the best! This house offered a great location seconds from the beach, with all the supplies necessary to get you settled in quickly and ready for vacation.

Cozy Cottage Weekend!

Let me just say this is an amazing well kept property! 3 bedrooms and checks all of the boxes. Fresh linens, wonderful decor, right across the street from the beach and plenty of cookware. The details at this property will not go unmissed! 10 out of 10 will book again!

Amazing property!

We were there for a corporate retreat and totally enjoyed our stay. The home was well equipped with all we needed and the view of the ocean from the deck was an added pleasure. The hot tub was a great place to relax or swim some laps. We will definitely be coming back again. Everything was just perfect.

Perfect Location!

We had a great trip and would definitely rent this home again. This house is beautiful and in a perfect location. We were able to walk right across the street to the beach every day and went and watched the sunsets every night. With four adults and two teens we had plenty of room and it was very clean. Loved it!

Spring Break 2024

Our first trip to St Joe Beach… house was perfect location with easy walk to the beach. Great set up, ample parking, we enjoyed the outdoor living area and hot tub. We couldn’t always get it to heat but it was fantastic when hot. Comfy beds, AMAZING master shower… everyone waited to use that one. Enjoyed the mornings on the porch with a nice view. I was cooking for an O line football crew, so I would have loved a few more pans and kitchen accessories- but we made do.Marc was an amazing host and very responsive. Easy check in and out procedures. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home- it was fantastic and we loved the area!!!!

Disappointed

This was our first vacation in almost 2 years. Being caregivers for a 94yo with Parkinson's makes it difficult to get away. We spent more than we intended just to get a place with a Jacuzzi/Spa for our short get away. This place looked perfect. However the spa was broken and all we got from the owner was "sorry about the spa, hope you enjoyed your stay." My wife was especially upset. We really wanted this place to be what we were looking for as we need a place to get away for our 10th anniversary. This will not be the place. The other issue we had was the toilet in the master was not clean. It looked as though someone had either diarrhea or had thrown up. Something had run down the front.

Fall Break at Our Happy Place

Our Happy Place was a well appointed beautifully decorated property. We were a family of six and we had plenty of room to spread out. The master bathroom was awesome! The swim spa felt wonderful for October nights, and the cute little nook downstairs was perfect for the kids to hang out. The views of the ocean from the front and back deck were awesome! I recommend this property for those that want comfort and close proximity to the beach! The host, Marc, was readily available for all concerns!

Fishing and Relaxing for the week.

Nice location not to far from town I think 4 miles there is a dollar general less than a mile from the house. Easy to park boat and extra room for other vehicles. We did go to Appalachia for the evening a nice little town I think it’s about 45 minutes from the house.

Will be back!

Truly the best stay! We had such a wonderful time and the house was just as described! It was perfect for our family and accommodated us all so well! Just a 2 minute walk to the beach and it was so convenient to go back to the house to grab sandwiches, etc. or whatever we needed! Very cute place and kept very clean. The owner was very responsive and so kind in helping us by recommending places to eat and sending other suggestions for activities around the area for us to consider! We loved it so much and plan to come back soon!
