True LOG Cabin - Resort Pool - Hot Tub - Arcade & Pool Table - 9 MI to Parkway
WELCOME TO TRANQUIL TREETOP If you're looking for a true mountain escape, this is it. Welcome to Tranquil Treetop, an authentic log cabin in Brother's Cove, a gated mountain resort 9 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and close to Gatlinburg, Wears Valley, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Three private ensuites, hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, pool table, arcade, deck swing, and resort pool - all wrapped in soaring windows with breathtaking wooded mountain views. Unplug, reconnect, and make memories that last.
THE EXPERIENCE Tranquil Treetop is where you come to breathe. Step outside onto the deck and you're immediately surrounded by it: birds calling through the forest canopy, wind moving through the trees, fresh mountain air, and on rainy days, the sound of a mountain stream below. This is what a true escape sounds like.
Soak in the hot tub while the mountains fade to silhouette at dusk. Settle into the Tiipii deck swing surrounded by forest and string lights and lose track of time. Dine outside while the woods come alive around you. Come summer, the Brother's Cove resort pool is available to guests and the mountain views from the pool area are nothing short of spectacular.
Inside, the cabin wraps you in warmth: rich log walls, soaring ceilings, and a stone fireplace that's begging to be lit on cool mountain evenings (October through March). Shoot a round of pool in the window-wrapped game room, challenge the group to 60 classic games on the whiskey barrel multicade arcade system, or simply sink into the sofa and let the mountain views do the work. At Tranquil Treetop, there's always something to do and never any pressure to do any of it.
LOCATION Brother's Cove sits at the sweet spot of the Smokies. You're 9 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, close enough to reach Dollywood, The Island, and dozens of restaurants and attractions in minutes, yet far enough away to feel completely removed from the tourist strip. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a short scenic drive with world class hiking, waterfalls, and wildlife. Gatlinburg and Wears Valley are equally close for dining, shopping, and exploring. Come home to total seclusion after a full day of adventure. That's the Tranquil Treetop experience.
LIVING AREAS The main level is the heart of the cabin, anchored by a stunning hand-carved spiral staircase that commands the space from every angle. Whether you're cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, gathered around the dining table for eight, or relaxing in the living room, it's the kind of craftsmanship you stop and appreciate. The living room offers plenty of seating, a 50 inch Roku TV, and a wood burning fireplace perfect for cool mountain evenings (October through March). The pool table room is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows — shoot a round while the forest watches. Challenge the group to 60 classic games on the whiskey barrel multicade arcade system. This is where the evenings happen.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS Every bedroom has its own private ensuite bathroom — no sharing, no waiting. The cabin was recently redecorated with new mattresses, luxurious bedding, cozy throws, and plenty of pillows. You will sleep well here.
Master Suite: King bed, jacuzzi tub, private deck access with Tiipii swing and outdoor seating, 32 inch Roku TV Bedroom 2: Queen bed, ensuite shower, 32 inch Roku TV Bedroom 3: King bed, jacuzzi tub, ensuite bathroom, 32 inch Roku TV Two queen memory foam sleeper sofas on the main level comfortably sleep additional guests. A half bath on the main level adds convenience for daytime use. Please note that all full bathrooms are accessed through the bedrooms — a classic feature of true log cabin design.
OUTDOOR AREAS The main deck is your front row seat to the mountains. Soak in the hot tub, gather around the outdoor dining table for eight, or fire up the charcoal grill for an evening cookout (charcoal not provided, available at nearby stores). The upper deck is home to the Tiipii swing bed strung with lights and surrounded by forest — guests consistently call it the highlight of their stay. Parking is available for 3 smaller vehicles or 2 larger ones.
RESORT AMENITIES The Brother's Cove resort pool is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, 9am to 9pm. The mountain views from the pool area are genuinely jaw dropping.
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES WiFi is available through Viper Broadband and works well for streaming and everyday browsing. Keep in mind that rural mountain connectivity is a different experience than city speeds — part of the charm of being this far up in the mountains.
Washer and dryer are available for guest use.
Roku smart TVs are in every bedroom and the living room — just log into your own streaming accounts and you are all set. Cable and satellite are not available.
GETTING HERE Check in is easy and fully self-guided. Your keypad code will be waiting for you, no office stop required. Pull straight up to the cabin and you are there. Parking is available for 3 smaller vehicles or 2 larger ones. The driveway is steep, as you would expect from a mountain cabin at this elevation. Low-riding vehicles and trailers are not able to navigate the driveway, so plan accordingly before your trip.
ROAD CONDITIONS The roads inside Brother's Cove are paved but steep and curvy. Good tire tread is essential year round, as wet roads can be challenging even in summer months. In winter weather conditions, four wheel drive or all wheel drive is strongly recommended. The drive is worth every turn.
NATURE AND WILDLIFE Tranquil Treetop is a true mountain cabin in a wooded forest setting. The cabin is on a regular pest control maintenance plan, but you may encounter the occasional spider, bug, or critter. Guests who love the outdoors take this in stride. If this makes you uncomfortable, a hotel in town may be a better fit.

Absolutely loved our stay! It was a perfect peaceful escape from town but close enough to get back to it when we wanted. Loved the location. Stacy was a great host and very responsive!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It has a beautiful set of windows in the main living area. I’d love to see snow falling while there! It has such a homey vibe to it. We will be back!!

The view from the cabin was beautiful. Clean and well stocked. Thank you for such a lovely time. It was perfectly “cabiny”, but updated for perfect comfort and fun.
The cabin was Beautiful! We had an awesome time. The driveway was a little scary coming and going but overall worth it! The pool table and hot tub was a big hit. We will definitely be back in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean, with incredible views and plenty of space to play games and rest. The corner tubs were a big hit for everyone after long days in town. The kids spent every night in the hot tub and we had competitive games at the pool table. Host was quick to respond, communicative, and friendly. We will definitely be returning!

Thanks for the kind review, we would love to host you again!
It’s as gorgeous as the pictures look. From the moment we booked till when we left everything was fantastic. Contact before asking if we needed anything, recommendations on things to do, places to eat etc. They were able to send someone the next day to adjust a fan that was blowing the wrong way and was too high to reach. The bedrooms are all a great size, perfect deck seating and a hot tub too. Pool table enclosed in the glass room was really cool. Really bad cell service which we kinda loved as we could use the WiFi to look anything up that we needed. The view when you drive up to the pool area is amazing. Everything in Pigeon Forge was just a 15 minute drive away. So many fun things to do, we went hiking, zip lining, white water rafting, horseback riding, mountain coasters at night and during the day. A perfect vacation that everyone enjoyed, even our 13 and 11 year olds!!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Tranquil Treetop. Keep us in mind on your next trip to the Smokies!
This was a beautiful cabin with great communication from the host. She was so kind and helpful. We had to cut our trip short by one day due to icy roads and she was so kind. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy a family Christmas trip that we will always remember!
I was looking for a cabin with big windows and this one was perfect. We enjoyed all the beautiful tree colors from the window view. My husband and I along with our 2 married children and their spouses stayed here. The cabin had plenty of room for all of us and was very comfortable and welcoming. We loved the pool table and the game console. The new appliances were great and we had everything we needed. The only negative is that the bed in the master bedroom was not very comfortable. It could use an upgrade. We loved the cabin so much that the bed doesn’t take away from my review. We had a great time!
Beautifully furnished cabin. Secluded and quiet. Kitchen was fully furnished with all the essentials and more. Great hot tub, pool table and games. The host was so informative and helpful throughout the entire stay. We would have liked to have spent more time at the cabin, but there is just so much to do in the area. We love the smokies!

About the host
Hosted by Stacy Preston
I spent 12 years in the hospitality industry, traveling often and enjoying hotel stays—until I had kids. Suddenly, staying in one room with an entire family felt more like a challenge than a fun experience. One sleepless night with a crying baby in a cramped hotel room made me realize there had to be a better way to travel. This sparked my inspiration to create properties designed specifically for families and groups, offering spaces where everyone can truly connect, relax, and enjoy their stay.
As a mom of three busy kids involved in sports, dance, and other activities, I understand the unique needs of families on the go. I've thoughtfully designed my VRBO properties with these needs in mind, ensuring comfort, convenience, and a memorable experience for families and groups alike.
Why they chose this property
There is something special about Brother's Cove that keeps us coming back. When I travel to the Smokies, I want to feel like I am actually in the mountains, not just near them. This community delivers that in a way most cabin areas simply do not.
Unlike many cabin communities where properties are stacked on top of each other, Brother's Cove is generously spaced. Tranquil Treetop sits on nearly an acre of wooded mountain terrain and that privacy is something you feel the moment you arrive. The drive up to the cabin is breathtaking every single time.
I love sitting on the decks here, away from the traffic, crowds, and noise of the Parkway, listening to the birds and the wind through the trees. There is nothing quite like it.
And yet you are never far from the action. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park are all within easy reach. My family loves to be on the go and this location makes that easy. The best of both worlds, every single stay.
What makes this property unique
Private Unique - NO cabin exactly like this one Huge windows to take in the views and wildlife True mountain experience
