Private LOG Cabin - Fall Views - Hot Tub - Arcade & Pool Table - 9 MI to Pkwy
WELCOME TO TRANQUIL TREETOP If you're looking for a true mountain escape, this is it. Welcome to Tranquil Treetop, an authentic log cabin in Brother's Cove, a gated mountain resort 9 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and close to Gatlinburg, Wears Valley, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Three private ensuites, hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, pool table, arcade, deck swing, and resort pool - all wrapped in soaring windows with breathtaking wooded mountain views. Unplug, reconnect, and make memories that last.
THE EXPERIENCE Tranquil Treetop is where you come to breathe. Step outside onto the deck and you're immediately surrounded by it: birds calling through the forest canopy, wind moving through the trees, fresh mountain air, and on rainy days, the sound of a mountain stream below. This is what a true escape sounds like.
Soak in the hot tub while the mountains fade to silhouette at dusk. Settle into the Tiipii deck swing surrounded by forest and string lights and lose track of time. Dine outside while the woods come alive around you. Come summer, the Brother's Cove resort pool is available to guests and the mountain views from the pool area are nothing short of spectacular.
Inside, the cabin wraps you in warmth: rich log walls, soaring ceilings, and a stone fireplace that's begging to be lit on cool mountain evenings (October through March). Shoot a round of pool in the window-wrapped game room, challenge the group to 60 classic games on the whiskey barrel multicade arcade system, or simply sink into the sofa and let the mountain views do the work. At Tranquil Treetop, there's always something to do and never any pressure to do any of it.
LOCATION Brother's Cove sits at the sweet spot of the Smokies. You're 9 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, close enough to reach Dollywood, The Island, and dozens of restaurants and attractions in minutes, yet far enough away to feel completely removed from the tourist strip. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a short scenic drive with world class hiking, waterfalls, and wildlife. Gatlinburg and Wears Valley are equally close for dining, shopping, and exploring. Come home to total seclusion after a full day of adventure. That's the Tranquil Treetop experience.
LIVING AREAS The main level is the heart of the cabin, anchored by a stunning hand-carved spiral staircase that commands the space from every angle. Whether you're cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, gathered around the dining table for eight, or relaxing in the living room, it's the kind of craftsmanship you stop and appreciate. The living room offers plenty of seating, a 50 inch Roku TV, and a wood burning fireplace perfect for cool mountain evenings (October through March). The pool table room is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows — shoot a round while the forest watches. Challenge the group to 60 classic games on the whiskey barrel multicade arcade system. This is where the evenings happen.

GETTING HERE Check in is easy and fully self-guided. Your keypad code will be waiting for you, no office stop required. Pull straight up to the cabin and you are there. Parking is available for 3 smaller vehicles or 2 larger ones. The driveway is steep, as you would expect from a mountain cabin at this elevation. Low-riding vehicles and trailers are not able to navigate the driveway, so plan accordingly before your trip.
ROAD CONDITIONS The roads inside Brother's Cove are paved but steep and curvy. Good tire tread is essential year round, as wet roads can be challenging even in summer months. In winter weather conditions, four wheel drive or all wheel drive is strongly recommended. The drive is worth every turn.
NATURE AND WILDLIFE Tranquil Treetop is a true mountain cabin in a wooded forest setting. The cabin is on a regular pest control maintenance plan, but you may encounter the occasional spider, bug, or critter. Guests who love the outdoors take this in stride. If this makes you uncomfortable, a hotel in town may be a better fit.

About the host
Hosted by Stacy Preston
I spent 12 years in the hospitality industry, traveling often and enjoying hotel stays—until I had kids. Suddenly, staying in one room with an entire family felt more like a challenge than a fun experience. One sleepless night with a crying baby in a cramped hotel room made me realize there had to be a better way to travel. This sparked my inspiration to create properties designed specifically for families and groups, offering spaces where everyone can truly connect, relax, and enjoy their stay.
As a mom of three busy kids involved in sports, dance, and other activities, I understand the unique needs of families on the go. I've thoughtfully designed my VRBO properties with these needs in mind, ensuring comfort, convenience, and a memorable experience for families and groups alike.
Why they chose this property
There is something special about Brother's Cove that keeps us coming back. When I travel to the Smokies, I want to feel like I am actually in the mountains, not just near them. This community delivers that in a way most cabin areas simply do not.
Unlike many cabin communities where properties are stacked on top of each other, Brother's Cove is generously spaced. Tranquil Treetop sits on nearly an acre of wooded mountain terrain and that privacy is something you feel the moment you arrive. The drive up to the cabin is breathtaking every single time.
I love sitting on the decks here, away from the traffic, crowds, and noise of the Parkway, listening to the birds and the wind through the trees. There is nothing quite like it.
And yet you are never far from the action. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park are all within easy reach. My family loves to be on the go and this location makes that easy. The best of both worlds, every single stay.
