This was a great place for our girls trip. We wanted a quiet relaxing place away from the stress of life and this place gave us the isolated serene feel. We were able to unwind and enjoy the beautiful woods around us. The hot tub was great and the swing out front was more fun than expected. Everyone was comfortable and had their own space inside the cabin. Thanks for the great place to stay.
100% recommend evwryone to stay at this home! We went during the Fall Foliage season and it was breathtakingly beautiful! We felt like we were in a tree house surrounded by the yellow and orange ans red leaves. So Beautiful! The home was very clean and very comfy! Beds were all very cozy and we all slept great! The bottom floor was fun, pool table, arcade game, hot tub, my kids had a blast. But their favorite thing was the swing out front. They spent hours swining and laughing! My husband and I enjoyed all the screened in porches, the fire pit and it was really nice that they allowed dogs! We will definitely be back to relax and unwind in this beautiful home!
The blue lizard lounge was a nice and comfortable place to stay while visiting the blue ridge area. There is a super fun rope swing tied to a tall tree on the property that was a lot of fun. Cool fire pit outside, comfortable furnishings inside, pool table needs a bit of TLC but the arcade game was fun. You're in the woods so it's expected to be buggy, just watch out for yellow jackets and spiderwebs outside. If you have young children, be sure to bring at least 2 baby gates or don't expect to relax during your stay with levels of stairs. Overall a great place to come/go while discovering the area. Fun drive through the neighborhood and easy drive up paved driveway.

Hi Theresa, Thanks for your feedback and comments about the cabin. We hope to see you again soon!
Wonderfully interesting house with charm & great features. We really appreciated the many options for sleeping & three bathrooms. There was plenty of room for us all to be together for meals or a movie and also room to spread out with three floors of living space.
This listing was okay. There were all of the basics with the exception of a chopping or pairing knife so bring your own! Plenty of towels and all of the pool balls were there. With all of this being said, we know we selected a secluded cabin in the woods. We have done this with many other properties.. but I have never been in a property where spiders were such an issue (some measuring 4 inches in diameter). Most of them were around where the pool table was.. which is where we wanted to spend most of our time. On the second night, we even realized that there was a nest above our bed in the loft! I normally would not say anything, but this was an issue. Hopefully this can help the owner look into some sort of pest control.. Cobwebs were covering all of the chandeliers, hot tub and also around the screened in back porch were a disappointment as well. I am afraid we will not come back to this property, but we do thank the hosts for having us.
The cabin was as nice in person as it showed in the pictures ahead of time. It's a great location for anyone looking to enjoy some peace and quiet. We particularly appreciated having so many close encounters with deer. You'll also need a good gps to navigate the turns necessary to find it. The driveway access is very steep. If you try to stay here when the roads are slippery, you will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Overall, we were very happy with our selection of this cabin.
