Loved Simple Plessures

The perfect beach house for two. Steps from the ocean offering the sounds of the waves as a lullaby. Well equipped with comfortable bed and tidy kitchen. The only thing we would add would be comfortable chairs/chaise lounges for the porch. And potholders!!!

This house was wonderful! Came with everything we needed, and was an absolutely dreamy location. We traveled with our two small children- it was wonderful to be able to play with our kiddo on the beach and have a monitor surveilling our infant just inside. Just enough space for our little crew.

Wonderful week

We truly enjoyed our stay! The home was perfect for our family of 4. Everything we needed was provided! We especially appreciated the outdoor shower to help us clean up the kiddos after a fun day on the beach!

This little beach house has a well stocked kitchen and is a great location. All paper goods, towels, sheets and blankets perfect. Awesome covered porch for every meal, and the bench seats on the deck were great too. It is clear that there is a lot of care for their guests. I do want to point out that the place is very small around 520 square feet. Not a lot of room in bedrooms for luggage or anything. Could use more hooks. Also in NC real estate 1.5 bath is typically 1 full and one toilet and sink. There is a full bathroom inside and shower outside. So not two toilets. We called after booking and we're a bit disappointed about that. They should make that more clear in listing. Otherwise all was great.

Small Pleasures

My husband and I just returned from a very nice week at Oak Island . Small Pleasures is a fantastic little house that was perfect for the two of us. The home is comfortable with incredible views and beach access. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Loved this little home and its location! Owner was very communicative and helpful, especially with restaurant recommendations and things to do! Our only complaint is the not so comfortable beds and tiny shower. However, nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay!

Idyllic

Small Pleasures is nothing short of a peaceful oasis with idyllic views and a porch you will not want to leave. Everything was incredibly clean and the home fully stocked with anything you will need for the most comfortable stay. Leaving was the only difficult part.

What a perfect escape! We had the greatest stay in Oak Island. The host was very responsive. The home was impeccably appointed, and the location was perfect for us! It is a nice, quiet street with perfect access to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed waking up every morning to the beautiful sunrise with our coffee on the porch! We couldn't have asked for a better stay.
