Choosing River Row Suites offers comforts of home: one king bed, one queen pull-out sofa, a full kitchen (oven, fridge, dishwasher), cookware, dish soap, toaster, coffee maker, iron, electric kettle, microwave, linens, towels, shower dispenser (shampoo, conditioner, soap), water filtration, cable TV, high-speed WiFi, and a starter bag of PennyCup coffee. A great place to stay. Was very clean and very roomy for a studio. Felt new and had everything we needed. Comfortable sofa and bed. Very pet friendly with places to walk your dog. This unit was right on the first floor, no stairs and parking was (most of the time) available right outside the door.

River Row Flats is owned by two local entrepreneurs who love Asheville and who are deeply involved in the local community, including the arts and outdoors scenes. Coming from the real estate and construction businesses (Jody Guokas owns JAG Construction and Mike Figura owns Mosaic Realty), when the opportunity to do a larger project came up, they jumped on the opportunity and hired a professional property manager, Nancy Chick, who has years of experience running and managing hotels.

Why they chose this property

We built River Row Flats to offer a boutique hotel experience in the River Arts District. Realizing that there was a lack of lodging in the River Arts District, and that many people who are coming to Asheville want to be in an urban walkable area but not necessarily in downtown Asheville, we picked a location across the street from New Belgium Brewing and on the new Greenway system, and we designed a small modern hotel that blends with the surrounding area.

What makes this property unique

All the modern amenities you need, in a comfortable, urban setting. Tall windows and pops of color keep the interior light and bright. Blackout curtains and cozy bedding ensure a good night's sleep. Close to all Asheville has to offer.
