Stay in this cozy cottage on crystal clear Lake Margrethe with 110’ of frontage and your own private sandy beach and dock! Relax on the deck with provided outdoor furniture or venture down to the lake to soak in the view and/or enjoy a fire in the lakefront fire pit, perfect during any season, and don't forget to look up at the stars!

Enjoy swimming, fishing, grilling, bonfires, or head over to the famous town of Grayling! Breweries, dining, and local shops right in town! Sunset views! Boat launch nearby along with trails to snowmobile or ATV. All the amenities of home in beautiful Northern Michigan!

For those craving an adventure, use our kayaks or paddleboards, bring your boat, check out local State Parks, trail systems, or the Ausable and Manistee Rivers!

Hartwick Pines State Park has hiking, bike trails, a museum, snowshoe trails, XC skiing, hunting, and fishing. Trails range from 3 to 7.5 miles.

Hanson Hills recreational area offers hiking, biking, snow skiing, and snow tubing.

We’ve stayed at this cottage multiple times and it’s always been a wonderful experience. The cottage is clean and comfortable, the lake and town are beautiful, and the host is fantastic. Everything was perfect, and we’ll definitely be back again.

Wonderful family vacation!

This is a beautiful property and Bryon was very helpful and communicative. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, swimming and got a lot of use out of the kayaks and paddle boards. The cottage had everything we needed and fit all of us very comfortably (family of 7). Will definitely look into booking again.

Such a cute cottage. Sleeps 6 an up comfortably. Beds are very comfy! Very clean, lots of great features, kayaks, fire pit, grill, dock, beach and so many fun things in the area. We enjoyed playing cards and games on the big kitchen table and hanging out by the lake.

Nice family retreat.

Owners were very responsive. The VRBO was clean and well stocked. We did not need anything. Nice fire ring and beach access. Lots of outdoor seating and the chairs for fire ring a much appreciated bonus. Plenty of space to sleep, large yard for kids to play and family to gather. We will definitely keep them in mind next time we need a place.
