House was great overall. We were lucky to gather our family for the holidays and had snow for the kids. The different amenities and spaces were wonderful for big families to allow for different activities and conversations for a wide variety of tastes.

Wonderful Villa

We truly enjoyed our stay. The villa was big enough for our group and just wonderful. The pictures of the villa were great but it is much more beautiful in person. It was a wonderful experience.

The property was very nice! The floors needed a good cleaning and some of the outside could use some maintenance. Otherwise, it was a nice home and we all had a great time! We would recommend staying here to others.

Beautiful home for a family gathering!

This home is beautiful and Nora was so friendly and helpful throughout the process. We would all absolutely stay there again! We were able to comfortably accommodate our 20 guests with no issue.

Mini family reunion

Family christmas

There was 14 in our family now and we’ve outgrown our home in Dwight, Illinois. This was perfect size for everyone to have their own rooms and plenty of space. The children thought it was great!

Great Home and Location

Great home and location for a corporate meeting for our small team. Many places to meet and gather. Home has some great features (that upstairs office was incredible). The kitchen could use a bit of an upgrade to match the rest of the house but we made it work for our large dinners.

Mid - Jan vacation

We used this house for a friends Christmas. We all have small children and the house was great for us. A lot of room for everyone and the scenery was beautiful. I recommend for anyone looking to host a similar event of a group looking to catch up with friends for a weekend.

Great for family gatherings

We had a wonderful time being together and eating at the large dining table and outdoor spaces in this home. Elinora is very easy to communicate with and responded promptly when we booked and when we had trouble with an appliance and the WiFi. Every home has its quirks but our overall experience was great. The wood burning sauna was an added enjoyment.

Family Reunion

House was spacious and beautiful. We had a large group and everyone was able to spread out, play games, cook and enjoy the lovely views. The kitchen was short on forks and the house could have used addition towels. We would certainly stay again next time we are all back home!

Wonderful weekend getaway

We had the pleasure of staying here for the weekend and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The home was both beautiful and very clean! There was a lot of natural sunlight in the home with a beautiful view of the farm. Elianora was a wonderful host - she was incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. She made us feel right at home! Overall, it was a fantastic weekend and I hope to come back in the future.

Great for Family Reunion

The children squealed with delight as they entered this lovely manor. In addition to the many rooms pictured is a spacious outside deck with tables and chairs for 14. We were 15 plus an additional 15 day visitors who live nearby, and there was plenty of room for all to spread out, visit and play. Unfortunately, the grill wasn’t working at the time but otherwise the visit was perfect!

Great location for large gatherings

Lots of rooms and beds for everyone. So many places to relax and its right next to a state park. There were a few quirks to this location - like a lack of top sheets on the beds, the HVAC system is tough to navigate and many of the bedroom windows have no curtains or blinds (just sheers). But despite the quirks we all had a great time. Nora is so sweet and thoughtful as a host. She will bend over backwards for her guests. So - book with confidence !!
