This house was the perfect getaway for our family and neighbors family. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. The house was very clean and as described. Beautiful views and nicely maintained outdoor property. We were not able to access the river but all the locals told us about how low it has been. We would definitely return!
Had a great family vacation! Great home, access to the river where you can float and fish! Float from Strasburg Park to the house in about 4hrs. From the house to Front Royal in 5-6hrs. Ice Cream Depot in Strasburg is a must on hot summer night! And go watch the sunset in Shenandoah National Park! Hosts were awesome!

It sounds like y'all had some beautiful adventures that will make great memories.
Property was just like it was listed. Property was quite and peaceful (5 acres) along the Shenandoah River. The house was roomy and the layout was great for the 5 of us. The game room with darts and foosball was hit for everyone. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. Highly recommend this place.
Loved our stay and hikes in the local mountains. Highlight was roasting sausages and marshmallows for s'mores over a fire in the large fire ring along the river. Hosts were wonderful.
We had an amazing stay over Easter weekend! The home was very clean, spacious, and comfortable for our group. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made cooking and gathering super easy. The river was such a highlight—perfect for fishing during the day and tubing when the weather warmed up. And the sunsets… absolutely stunning. We looked forward to them every evening.Would definitely stay here again—highly recommend!
Host was very responsive and informative. Area is rural and very quiet. Beautiful areas with various wildlife to view. Property had everything we needed. Would stay again if in the area.
We had a wonderful time enjoying the property and the surrounding area. There are restaurants close but the property is very secluded and lovely especially If you enjoy looking at the stars. Thank you so much!
This was our second stay here in just one year, and that says it all—we loved it so much we had to come back! The house is perfect for families, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy their time together. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything you need to cook meals, making it feel just like home. The covered porch is one of our favorite features. It's the perfect place to grill, eat dinner, and watch the wildlife. The entire home was spotless and very well maintained. The best part, though, is the river. We spent hours tubing, fishing, and ending the evenings around the fire. It's the perfect place to relax, unplug, and make great family memories. We can't recommend this place enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!
This is a very nice house with a lot of space and privacy. It was peaceful drinking coffee on the back porch while watching the deer graze. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting the area
The house was a perfect fit for our fall golf trip. Very clean and spacious and plenty of room for four guys. Nice quiet location and check in/check out was simple with no issues.
Overall we had a great stay. The house was plenty big for all of us. Our kids loved the access to the river behind the house. We had an issue with the lock and they responded quickly and fixed the issue.
Enjoyed the house - a large property in the country! Super relaxing watching the deer and turkey in the yard while sitting on the screened porch. Very quiet! Owners are super responsive and accommodating.
Very convenient for visiting Shenandoah Park. Convenient for groceries, restaurants, and highway. Would stay again. Great hosts. Keurig coffee maker and soft water!!
Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay by the river. The area is beautiful! Sadly it rained and flooded the river so we only got to enjoy swimming/fishing for 1 days, but we had lots of fun hiking the Shenedoah mountains and exploring the nearby areas. Our kids enjoyed fishing in the pond as well. Lots to do in the area with lots of delicious food and coffee options! We definitely recommend this place.
We enjoyed our stay in this property. The children had fun exploring the pond and river. We enjoyed morning coffee in the sun room, listening to the birds and watching the deer graze in the field. You can enjoy a beautiful starry night sky away from the city lights. The owners were very attentive and very quickly responded to our requests.
