It's situated in a beautiful Classic 1930 Hollywood Spanish style building in the Hollywood Hills overlooking the city. There is a large living room, a smart TV. A long couch that could sleep 1 comfortably. A Summers & Son Spinet piano. Bright Spanish tiled kitchen, includes a breakfast nook. French doors leading to a large tiled sun room which is also the dining area, overlooking a lush Canyon with a spectacular view. A spiral staircase from the sunroom leads to a large shared garden and laundry room. Large bedroom with tiled floor, Cal King bed and bathroom/ black out blinds. Wireless high speed internet. Hardwood and tile floors throughout.
Please note this is an apartment building and at various times of the day you will hear your neighbors.

Ideally located in the hills but within walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood Blvd. Minutes walk to wonderful places such as the Chinese Theater, the Pantages Theater, and the Roosevelt Hotel. The famous Magic Castle, the Kodak Theater, home to the annual Academy Awards ceremony. Close to Beverly Hills, Griffith park and observatory. 5 minute drive to Universal studios. Minutes from all major studios, museums and galleries. Disneyland is a one hour drive and 30 minutes to the beaches of Venice, Santa Monica and Malibu without traffic. Minutes drive to downtown LA and a short drive to the Angeles Crest mountains.

Lovely home in the hills

The view of the city in the morning would make up for any issues with the property—but there weren't really any issues to make up for. Clean, comfortable, well-maintained, with excellent communication from the owner. A terrific spot for a short visit or longer stay.

Views from the apartment are spectacular and it's just a 10min walk to the Hollywood walk of fame. We loved coming back to relax in the comfy apartment after our long days of site seeing. And Dierdre was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Place to Stay in the Hollywood Hills

Our stay at this Hollywood Hills property has been fantastic. The hosts are so lovely to deal with & the property is wonderful. Located in Hollywood Hills each room has a beautiful view. The dining room has been our favourite area to enjoy the view from the floor length windows. The apartment is fully equipped with all amenities needed for a great stay. From a brand new large comfortable bed & TV, to a full kitchen to be able to cook from if needed. The location is fantastic & such a picturesque area. We would highly recommend this property.

a gem in the Los Angeles hills!

this rental was perfect.. spacious and clean.the view from the sunroom/dining area was amazing! excellent locaton.. center of everything and you could walk to Hollywood blvd. Diedre was very welcoming and always answered my questions,at any time. the final bonus was the apartment having a personal parking space.(which in Hollywood is priceless..)!!

Amazing View

Amazing apartment, comfortable bed, nice kitchen, you will find everything what you need. The view is really amazing, you can see all lights of Hollywood. You just need 5 minutes by foot to the Hollywood Boulevard. It was an amazing time and I really enjoyed this beautiful treehouse in the middle of the Hollywood hills.

Fantastic views and prime location in Hollywood

Well, it must be a great place to stay I ended up living here for about 6 months! As seen from the pictures, the views are quite exquisite and the whole place has a unique, rustic, and warm feel. The 1920s spanish style is charming, but keep in mind it is a bit of an older building, so there can be some caveats to that. Everything stated in the description and pictures is accurate, and I highly recommend considering this lovely place to stay while experiencing all LA has to offer. Also, the owners are extremely nice and very responsive, and the neighbors are great too. To summarize my experience I'll give you the good and the not so good. The Good: spectacular views, prime location, big soft bed, and the comfort of home. Not So Good: on a steep hill, kitchen is tiny, shared internet was spotty, missing a few finishing touches. The pluses definitely outweigh the minuses, you'll be hard pressed to find a better place to stay for the value. If you have the chance to book a stay here, you'll be sure to enjoy it.

Superlative

We stayed in this apartment for more than two months. This place is truly wonderful. It is very comfortable in virtually all respects. The kitchen is a little tight and lacks an oven, but the rest of the apartment more than makes up for this deficiency. Very comfy bed, nice bathroom & shower, etc. The large dining room has a stunning view over Los Angeles. Located in a historic neighborhood of North Hollywood (you can feel the history when walking the neighborhood), it is just uphill from the classic sights of Hollywood (Walk of Fame, Grauman’s Chinese Theater, etc.). The owners of the apartment are very friendly and most helpful. The only negative for me is that if I post this review the apartment will not be available when we want to stay there! AMAZING PLACE!!!

All I can say is that this was an amazing house..with incredible views in the HEART of it all!!!!!!!!!!! just the BEST!!! the owners were super cool and helpful -no problems with anything! just an amazing place and parking included!!!! thank you for letting us stay!!!

Why they chose this property

This property has been in our family since the late seventies. It's a magnificent example of Classic Spanish, Art Deco style architecture, popular in the late 20's early 1930's in California. Perched high in the Hollywood Hills, over looking the city with spectacular views.

What makes this property unique

It's hard to describe this building, no matter how many photos we post, most are pleasantly surprised.
