About this property

Everything in this house is new or nearly new. Perfect for a summer vacation, to enjoy a holiday week, to visit with your favorite Marine or just to get away. Quiet, suburban tract but close to everything including grocery stores, restaurants and retail. New Bern is a quaint, riverside town with many shops and the original Pepsi Cola soda fountain. You will be a short drive to The Neuse and Trent Rivers and only 45 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean so there are plenty of opportunities for water sports. Also, there are miles of beautiful hiking trails nearby. Will consider long term renters and we will make every effort to support military families.

Clean, relaxing, convenient

1st impression was how clean it was. The residence is well maintained. Location was quiet, family neighbor hood. Very convenient to downtown & beaches in the area.

Cozy at Scamozzi

The house was comfortable. However, we did not have tvs in the bedrooms, except for the one that was in the closet on the floor. The main one in the living room allowed some information/programming that all of our family could watch together. No wastebaskets in the rooms; some spider webs were visible, the kitchen well-stocked except for a Keurig coffee maker. We didn't remember to take our own.All in all, we enjoyed our stay and it was well within the range of miles it took to get to events, food, supplies,etc. that we used. Thanks so much for the opportunity to enjoy New Bern, NC.

Easy 5 stars

Cozy comfortable, PERFECTLY clean, luxurious bedding, host who responds immediately, to-die-for kitchen, very peaceful neighborhood and a great little yard with a beautiful bit of woods behind filled with songbirds: what's not to love? We are grateful to have been able to visit and already looking forward to returning in the fall.

Perfect Location in New Bern

Lovely home with great fenced back yard and quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has everything needed and then some! Owner put together a very thoughtful visitor guide that was much appreciated!! Would definitely stay again!!!

Adrienne and I would like to welcome you to our house in New Bern. We bought it to be close to our new granddaughter, Evelyn Grace, but can't be there every week. The place is much too nice to sit idle so we wanted to share it with others, like you!

What makes this property unique

The kitchen is set up for people who like to cook and was equipped by a professional chef. The beds are really nice with new mattresses and box springs. But the biggest treat is the fenced-in backyard that abuts the nature preserve so you can sit back and enjoy a calm, quiet space.
