Huge family vacation home with picture-perfect setting overlooking beautiful Sunrise Lake, an 80-acre all-sports spring-fed lake located 4 miles East of LeRoy, MI.

Paved drive leads to house nestled on private 3 acres with 200 ft. of lake frontage, with your own private sandy beach and swimming raft. Bring your boat to tie up to the 35ft dock. Kayaks (3) provided, plus paddle boat for cruising the lake.

Light and airy, with vaulted beamed ceiling and panoramic views of the lake. Relax on the huge upper deck, accessible from the family room or master bedroom. Head down the stairs to the covered patio below - or across the lush lawn to the gazebo or swimming beach. You can also access the covered patio from the downstairs game room, located in the full walk-out lower level. At night, gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows. Amazing views of the stars!

Family fun at the Hydeaway

This was perfect for our 3 families, that included 3 small children. It was spacious, with plenty of areas for the kids to play. They had a wonderful time swimming and diving. The kitchen was large and well stocked and the second refrigerator was a real plus. All 3 families would have preferred firmer mattresses for the adults. We would definitely recommend this property for a family vacation.

One of our favorites

Another great stay at this place. We've stayed at quite a few places up north and this is definitely one of our favorites. The lack of AC is probably the only con, as everything else about the place is awesome. Love the layout of the house, the extra sitting room in the master bedroom, the gated deck to keep our excited dogs from escaping to the lake, the layout of the yard, which allows our dogs to run off-leash, and then the fantastic dock which allows all of us to dive right into the water. We'll be back again next year!

stay was very peacefull. had issues with lights not working and light switchs confusing. outdoor lights on lower patio and lights in lower kitchen couldn't get to work. cleanlieness of bathroom, kitchen cabinet and carpet could be improved.. Also A/C would be a huge plus

JUST WHAT WE NEEDED

Our stay at Leroy was amazing!!! Our family takes 1 full week once a year to stop and drop everything to truly be a family. We lost our mother/grandmother in June, she was the best part of our family!! This place was private, clean, roomy, peaceful, it was just the right place for us to remember and celebrate our mother and spend quality family time. Thank you for sharing this amazing house!! Roger checked in with us via phone, which is perfect, that made us feel trusted, relaxed and comfortable. The beds were the bomb!! The sheets were crisp and clean!! The lake could be seen from most every window and was gorgeous. The lay-out of the house was perfect for our large group, even on raining days when we were forced in doors, there was plenty of room to spread out but still be together with the openness of it. Having the 2 refrigerators/kitchens was great when you come from family full of amazing cooks that LOVE to celebrate!!! Having the sandy beach was perfect to cool off and float. The fire pit was big and in a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake at dusk, then share stories, memories, laughter, spirits, play campfire games and gaze at stary night. The only thing that might have better was a pontoon and maybe wood just for the first night due to the check in time. The family has voted that this house has everything we needed and is another one for the books of greats times. Already wishing we were still there and can't wait until next time. Thanks and God Bless

Pretty much perfect family vacation

My family (2 parents, 2 kids and 1 dog) were joined by both sets of grandparents at this wonderful cottage. It had more than enough room for us. Some of the best parts were the large deck overlooking the lake, the kayaks, paddleboat and row boat, along with a swim raft. There was even some fishing done. The place is close to some Amish farms where you can get some great fresh produce for meals. A large grill made it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The large fire pit near the water was a nice way to end some fun summer days. It was a great place to enjoy some quality family time.

Perfect Family Getaway !

Wanted to share with anyone who might be looking for the perfect family getaway location. Sunrise Lake is a beautiful quiet little lake that has everything a family with kids could ask for. We never felt like we needed to leave for other entertainment. Everything was right there for us, boating, fishing, kayak and paddle boat as well. The lake was very clean being spring fed and my Grankids enjoyed turtle hunting everyday. Fishing was good as well. The house was perfect for our family with all kinds of room, especially enjoyed the extra kitchen downstairs too. Thanks Todd, much appreciated !

Looking for the perfect vacation spot? This is it!

This home is a wonderful place for a family gathering! We had our family of three couples and one teenager, and dog, for a week in early June, and couldn't have been happier! We had one day of rain, which kept us happily inside with air hockey and other games for a friendly competition. The other days had us out on the lake with the three kayaks, row boat, and paddle boat, as well as the multitude of blow up beach toys and the swim platform. The fishing was great and the lake quiet (we were the only ones on it, I swear!) The well-stocked kitchen allowed us to prepare every meal for the week! There was nothing missing! Wood was provided for our end-of-stay bonfire, and the stars treated us to quite a display........there were BILLIONS of them! We had wild-life sightings as well! We hope to return in the future! Thanks to Todd and family for a wonderful vacation! The Rylko Family

Great time for the entire family

We used the place as a spot for our familiy to gather for a week together in the summer. And the house was perfect for the 3 generations of familiy members that spent the week on the water. The house was very well maintained and VERY well equiped with everything we needed. The nice fans in each room worked great and with the breeze off the lake kept each room very comfortable even with the warm weather we had. The layout of the house was perfect for our group with space both up and downstairs to hang out. Plenty of space and rooms for everyone. We had a perfect week of Michigan weather and we were in the beautiful lake most every day. The lake was great for swiming and the floating dock platform had kids on it most of the day. We were able to make use of our boat on the lake with most of the time our boat being the only boat on the lake. We will be making this an annual family gathering spot in the summer and would reccomend this place to all. The owner was very easy to work with and was able to quickly answer any question we had. This has a beautiful setting -- on our own point overlooking the lake. It's so peaceful. There's always a breeze. You won't believe the incredible view of the stars.

What makes this property unique

Sunrise Lake is quiet - it's an all-sports lake but there are very few boats. The lake is spring-fed. It's really clean with a hard sandy bottom. In the morning, the water is like glass. You can even see deer playing along with water's edge.
