The spacious property features a wood-burning firepit and an expansive deck equipped with a private hot tub. Designed with entertainment in mind, the great room boasts soaring ceilings and abundant natural light, anchored by a central brick fireplace that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Gather around the bar while the home chef prepares delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, or settle into the plush living room sofas to stream your favorite shows and movies on the mounted smart TV. A cozy loft area overlooking the great room provides an additional sleeping option for extra guests.

A great property for a quiet getaway

This is a great cabin in a great area it was quiet with lots of things to do on the property, hot tub, fire pit, and frisbee golf. The house is beautiful and looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The surrounding area is quiet and great to break away from the rest of the world.

This is a gorgeous property and perfect location off the beaten path away from everyone but also super close to food and fun. We also enjoyed the CARC membership. Hot tub was great and the house was well stocked for cooking etc also enjoyed all the use of soaps, cleaning supplies etc so that we didn’t have to purchase anything xtra. Would love to come back next year

Beautiful location and home

Stayed with my husband and our dogs and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and in a great location. It feels remote, but is close enough to town to grab anything you might need. If you go in late fall or winter, definitely be prepared for the cold and to light a fire.

This is the 2nd time staying in this home. Stayed the first time over 4th of July and it was great - the trees kept it very private. This time we stayed for our anniversary and loved the fall weather. The hot tub is perfect and private. Big deck to sit out on, there is even a porch swing! Kitchen is well stocked. Love the wood burning fireplace!

We appreciated how well-stocked the cabin was—it felt like someone had truly thought of what guests might need. Ultimately, this cabin gave us everything we needed for a relaxing and meaningful time together. The atmosphere, the location, and the homey setup made it a memorable trip. With just a few improvements, it could go from great to unbeatable. Deep Creek’s beauty mixed with the comfort of this cabin was a winning combo—and I'd definitely recommend it.

Deep Creek getaway

Our group was 4 adults and 2 young children, and we had such a wonderful stay! The property being managed by Vacasa felt a little corporate, but the house was well appointed and felt very personal once we checked in. I always received quick responses from the management team as well. We all had a great time around the fire pit, and the adults loved the hot tub. The indoor fireplace was lovely; unfortunately, we didn’t use it, but we plan to come back in the future. The whole property was well maintained and the owners have thought of nearly everything you’d possibly need (only thing missing was an iron and ironing board). 5 star experience!

Amazing rental with thoughtful touches

From the moment we arrived, it was clear the owners put a lot of efforts into making sure guests have a great stay. We’ve been coming to Deep Creek for years renting from Raileys and Deep Creek rental where you literally have to bring every single thing you might need while on vacation— which is annoying. This house has everything you need. We loved staying at the house, playing in the snow in the yard, using the luxurious hot tub and sitting around the fireplace! It is the little things that make a huge impact and we greatly appreciate the amazing hospitality and all the extras in the house. We will be back!

Fantastic Cabin

We loved the cabin. Very cozy and well appointed space, especially the great room. We loved the outdoor areas, especially the fire pit. It was easy to get to the attractions around Deep Creek Lake. Our only complaint was a last minute notification from Vacasa that the hot tub would not be available, with no explanation. When we arrived the hot tub appeared to be running and had a tag saying it had been recently cleaned/serviced l. We did receive a $50 refund for the hot tub fee, but since it was a major selling point and factored into the price, this was a major disappointment.

Perfect Family Getaway

Boulder Retreat is the perfect family getaway at beautiful Deep Creek Lake! Our Family time around the big fire pit cooking steaks and making s'mores then enjoying the hot tub was the recipe we needed for fun and peace at the same time! It is only 10 minutes from downtown so it very easy to get to the lake, grocery store, and restaurants. Swallow Falls was stunning and a beautiful 20 minute drive that is a must-see for the fall. The house had a great setup for playing board games and family movie night. It was great that the owners leave out plenty of wood and fire-starters so you can easily utilize the fire pit. A special little treat was the keurig with hot chocolate and different coffees as well as the regular coffee maker. The beds were really comfortable!! Overall just a beautiful place to relax. I highly recommend!!

Great house (minus the ants)

My husband and I loved staying at this house for the long 4th of July weekend. House is easily big enough for more than the 2 of us, but it was a perfect for the 2 of us. Hot tub is large! Deck is big and great for sitting outside enjoying the tree lined property. The Roku TV meant we had plenty to watch when it was raining. My only complaint were the ants. Not the little ones I am use to see every now and again... These ants were enormous. Large enough that you'd spot one out of the corner of your eye coming across the floor. They were only on the main level, but enough that I never walked around without flip flops. Vacasa, as always, is a wonderful company to rent through. The code entry is so convenient and they are on the other side of a text should you need anything!

Nice House/location but Vacasa property management is terrible

We booked this property through VRBO but it is managed by a company called Vacasa -- firstly while we could pay the initial fee through VRBO-- they force you to use the Vacasa system to pay the remaining balance- a minor annoyance, but it didn't say that anywhere on the listing. More Importanly, we had an issue - the Hot Tub (one of the main reasons we chose this property) was broken. It took numerous communications with Vacasa and their local management team to even get some one to check it out.. I don't even know if anyone ever came out, because they literally never followed up on any calls, texts, or online chats. I had to take the initiative every step of the way and hound them every day of our stay there just to get a refund on the hot tub fees- since we literally couldn't use it. Also, the local manager made it sound like they knew this prior to us arriving that there was a problem- but no communication about the issue- so it felt like they just hoped we wouldn't notice. If this property changes hands I'd be willing to stay again, but as long as Vacasa is in charge of it, we won't be back.. and we won't be booking any property managed by them in the future.
