Built in the mid-1800s as a farmer's family homestead, this house is the largest and oldest of four homes on the property. Lovingly restored with attention to detail and respect to it's rich past. It boasts unique charm and history alongside the modern necessities and comforts you want.
-5 min walk to Old Town/museums/art galleries/shops/restaurants
-grassy park w/ play structure across the street
-5 min drive to Downtown/zoo/aquarium/botanic garden/freeway
This house sleeps 5 people. I would not, however, recommend it for five adults. Please take a look at the photos and floor plan and consider your group dynamics before considering booking for 5 people. We want you to have a comfortable stay.
This home is on a property with three other homes. You'll have The Homestead all to yourself, along with it's patio and small yard. You'll also have access to the shared guest amenities around the property including parking, and seating areas.
We live in Albuquerque and are frequently working to maintain our 4 rentals, so you may spot me or my husband on the property during your stay. We're happy to help you with any questions or concerns. But we won't bother you beyond a friendly wave or a quick "hello."
The BEST neighborhood to get a taste of Albuquerque food and culture- mostly within walking distance! It is a quiet, residential area that both visitors and locals love for the historic charm and convenient location.
The best thing about this stay is that it's in walking distance of so many great places- restaurants, shops, museums, and more. Plus, it's a 5 minute drive to the freeway- a day trip to Santa Fe is about an hour drive from the house.
