Ed is the best host around! Super welcoming, quick to respond, met us personally to show us the place and offered incredible amenities (gas grill, yard games, firewood, etc.). Our stay was great! Awesome location so close to the lake, plus a clean and comfortable home. You can't beat it!

Felt at home as soon as we walked in. The cottage was super-clean and comfortable and very well stocked. Ed thought of everything. Communication before and during our stay was quick and Ed was always so helpful. We had a wonderful visit and we definitely would stay again.

Great Place & Host

My buddies and I stayed at Edward's cottage. It was a fantastic place. Relaxing and clean. Edward was a gracious host. We really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend to anyone!

Week at the Lake

The house was very clean and stocked well! Ed was even so nice to have treats for the kids and a bottle of wine for the adults. Nice central location and dock access to the lake.

I would recommend Lisa to stay At any vrbo and her family. They left the place immaculate. The kids were outstanding well-behaved. And look like they had a lot of fun. Memories were made at Houghton Lake, Michigan.

Perfect getaway

Had the most relaxed, fun weekend here with family. From sunsets, watching the water from the front porch, kayaking, corn hole, bike riding, to bon fires and S'mores. Plus you get Ed the hostess with the mostess, who will take care of anything you need or want.If you are looking for a place to get away but still close enough to do it all, then this is the place for you

Wicked weekend

This property was perfect we gathered for a weekend of fun filled friend and drinking time and the house was perfect size had all we needed to keep us going. Ed even came and was out dd (Very much appreciated). He let us know anything we needed and helped with all our needs thank you for amazing time
